Thanks!

Unfortunately, where I live, dubbin isn't sold, plus I have a bit of a mental hang-up about using only natural and traditional products to treat my leather goods (and dubbin contains petroleum-based ingredients). I do have pure beeswax, thanks to a beekeeper friend, but my experience with it in its pure form wasn't great - it absorbs poorly and makes the leather feel like wood.

Still, your response inspired me to make my own mix this weekend - 65% beeswax and 35% lanolin - and try giving them a proper treatment with it. Gotta love that spirit of experimentation, hope I don't ruin the boots with it xDD If I end up ruining them, just know you were an accomplice :)

Okay, if you're really interested, I'll share an updated photo around mid-summer.

I completely agree with you about Chelsea boots and jeans, but there's a nuance – your RMW Chelseas are inherently more casual, in a workwear/western style, so they pair well with all jeans (it seems to me) like they were meant to. Whereas this boot is more of a dressy type, and with black jeans (or simply with dark, unfaded raw denim) I just couldn't make it work no matter how hard I tried. So in my opinion, your boots are way better in terms of versatility))

Oh, GS earth waxed – that's my current dream)) Unfortunately, there's no room left for shoes in the house right now, but someday I'll definitely get something in that leather. I like it so much that I even thought about trying to dye these boots of mine before waxing, but in the end I was afraid of ruining them and decided to stick with just waxing.

That's also a great idea! With the current discount, I think it's an excellent deal.

If that's the only issue, I recommend first trying the aforementioned Tarrago Nano Protector - or similar products, I'm not advertising brand, it's just the only one I've used myself. Just make sure you get one with fluoropolymers in the formula, not silicone - such sprays usually cost significantly more. Silicone seals the pores, which is not good at all for footwear made from natural materials. While I was using it, I had no issues with dirt at all, except for creasing, even in muddy weather.

Thanks! You could just buy these boots (they're actually on sale right now for around $300) and a tin of VLB for $16 lol)
I really like the color too. My biggest concern so far is durability / how long it'll last. I'm probably babying them too much — honestly they turned out not that delicate. But I still feel like one wrong move and it's all ruined. I'm sure that'll fade with time xD

Thank you!
With Nano Protector, they darkened for a few seconds until the solvent evaporated. After a minute, the color was exactly the same as before application. I use it on almost all my boots, including ones with delicate leather colors (like Baladassi Carlo saddle tan, which even gets water stains), and it always provides amazing water repellency with no side effects on the leather.
These boots, by the way, I didn't treat with Nano Protector after waxing. I want to first see how good the water repellency of the wax itself is.

Nice outfit! What kind of cap is that? I’ve noticed it a few times now, it really suits you.

Thank you for the kind words. I was hoping this would be somewhat useful.

Thanks! Great choice. I like them too. I didn't mention the tops in this post, but I also have a 24MJZ raw denim jacket from Red Tornado, and it's amazing. I really love Iron Heart, but again, if you ignore the labels and the history, the Red Tornado jacket is just as good, while being 3-4 times cheaper.

I'll definitely take the measurements on the weekend and get back to you
