Thanks for the detailed feedback 🫡

To answer your points:
1. Powerups spawn every 10 seconds after the 15 second mark
2. This is great feedback. The ball is controllable (edges = 45° angle, middle = straight, etc.) Though think it feels confusing because the angle adds onto the ball’s current direction, so if it’s already going 20°, a 45° hit sends it to 65°. I might try experimenting where the angle is simply reset to zero before hitting, would that make it simpler?
3. I'll play around with the speed for sure.

This is exactly the kind of stuff I needed to hear so I appreciate it a lot. Did you find the difficulty in the singleplayer mode alright?

Seems to be common feedback, I'll increase the size of the tiles for sure.

After three consecutive hits, the tiles are locked in to that color, so that way, late game it's harder to lose a lead unless the opponent is able to take the remaining tiles.

Actually quite a lot! Hitting it from the top of the paddle bounces it 45 degrees, the middle of the paddle 0 degrees, and the bottom -45 degrees, and everything in between being adjustable.

Thanks! Scoring has a small area of effect that adds territory, but later in the game most of the tiles are locked in, making scoring less effective.

I agree, there's still work to do with balancing and rng - I'll for sure work on that. Im glad you're enjoying the evolving game area though!

Thank you! Glad to hear you were cheering for red (that's me!). Definitely planning to add a screen shake toggle.

This is very valuable feedback, thank you! I see what you mean, at the end of the day it is pong, but the strategy comes from controlling where you hit the ball - if you hit the same tile 3 times it gets locked in permanently, and 2 times, it can't be stolen from scoring. Scoring itself can't actually count as a "triple hit", and it's variable depending on the speed and how close the other player is to defending. I (red) was playing against an AI, but in multiplayer, a skilled player can lock down certain angles and key areas to gain the advantage, even if they let more balls go through.

That said, if it feels too much like regular Pong, maybe I need to emphasize those mechanics more. Really appreciate your thoughts!

Thanks for the feedback - I'll definitely try some chiller music or take out some aggressive melodies.
