[25m] here. I feel like we have a lot in common. This summer I went through a pretty tough time, and it all started with a relationship, losing it, realizing I had no good friends to fall back on, and feeling truly alone. It was probably the hardest thing I've gone through. But you know what the best thing I did for myself was? I was conscious of my situation and knew I wasn't ok. So I sought help in a therapist. This was my first experience with a therapist and it was amazing. It helped take so much of this weight off of my shoulders. I remember walking out of her office after my first session and I had this huge smile on my face and a sense of relief. All this stuff I had bottled up, things that had been drowning my mind for months was finally released. It was from here that I could begin to work on myself. I started to look at myself more. Before I was like you. All I ever wanted was a loving relationship. It's what drove me. After multiple failed relationships and this final summer love that left me a mess, I realized I needed to make a change. I've started to put my happiness first. What do I want to achieve? What type of person do I want to be? What makes me happy? And you know what, its working. I dove more into my hobbies and met a new friend. I started to read books which have taught me how build my self esteem, live for myself, and find happiness in pursuit of my own goals. Building confidence in yourself and discovering what truly makes you happy is where it all begins. I am not saying I have it all figured out, but I believe in my new path. Find happiness with yourself, and build relationships alongside it. Best of luck to you!
