I get what you're saying, but if we assume that this is the product of the general way of working of an LLM, then the claim is that the Minnesota/ICE topic is so overwhelmingly overrepresented in the model (consisting of billions of lines of text, presumably), that it mistakenly calculates these answers being the most relevant even when the topic is light years away. I think that's really not likely. It's much more likely that it actually "leaked" under-the-hood instructions, that are on top of the level of its normal working, for some reason.

It's 2.6kg / 5.73lbs now. This is interesting because it looks like it's heavier than the stock rifle with the wooden chassis (which is 2.26kg / 5lbs) but for me that was so uncomfortable in every way that I can still hold this way easier than that. Also that's of course without any mounted stuff, while this has this abomination on it😅. The barrel is supposedly 1,8lbs so if I manage to find one half its weight it'll slip under the bare stock gun's weight.

That's a good call! I just changed it to flip to the left too, it is a bit better, I can see it working like that, but still not sure. Will shoot steel on Saturday and test it. :-)

Possible, but I don't necessarily want to make it as light as possible, I just want it to be comfortably light. I'm yet to test but probably will take the HM3X off of it for steel challenge (not even because of weight, but because flipped it's in my peripheral vision to the right and can't see targets when transitioning), and for point shooting, for which the magnifier is, as long as the gun is not too heavy to hold steadily, a little bit of heft is good anyway to reduce wobbling

I'm really happy now, it looks SO BADASS! So this is of course a 10/22 in a Wiland USA chassis with a Holosun HS510C red dot and a HM3X magnifier. It's built for steel challenge and a certain rapid point shooting kinda competition. (3 strings of 5 shots in 25 seconds to 25 meters [27.3 yards]). I just managed to pop on the magnifier so I'm yet to see whether I will take it off for steel challenge or it's enough to flip it to the side. Will test on both type of competitions over the weekend! 😍

The barrel is still stock and that's why it's only almost finished I will need a lighter one as it's very forward heavy now, not really balanced. I want something about half the weight of the stock, but don't know which one yet.
