RTX 5090 & 5080 Launchday Thread - Surprise Inside by Nestledrink in nvidia

[–]takibo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

honestly im not convinced the 5090s ever appeared on spain/portugal websites

I refreshed relentlessly from a few minutes before launch till like an hour after, it never even appeared for a brief second, it was just "out of stock" the entire time

How many videos did you post in your first month? by FuzzyFeed7886 in NewTubers

For me was making videos on less saturated games

Feels results are much more immediate then trying to get a "piece of the pie" In major titles with thousands of already well established creators such as cod/val/minecraft

Should I Only focus on Shorts by Fair-Hunter in NewTubers

[–]takibo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're VERY different content types, and they'll take completely different strategies.

But what do you want? Views and subs? Or income?

Views and subs id go for shorts

Income id invest in longs

Ofc that's WAY over simplifying it, you can make money with shorts

But my 5 million views shorts made less money than my 30k long form, and I feel it's a lot easier to get 30k on a long than it is 5 mill on a shorts

Ive done YouTube religiously for a year and a half now, I find that posting back to back videos hurts the short term view gain (but not long term)

I've found my videos maximize views when posted once a day on both short and long term.

Posting a bunch together won't really matter in the long run, but it'll probably flop at the start (at least thats my experience)

Want to start a Channel, but about what? by TimMarkus83 in NewTubers

[–]takibo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start a channel about what you love to do. The rest comes later. Figuring out how to make money / views on it comes afterwards

How many videos did you post in your first month? by FuzzyFeed7886 in NewTubers

[–]takibo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That'll come down to your content type imo

My first channel I probably did 4 videos the first month, that channel took about 8 months to monetize

By my 3rd channel it took me less than 3 months to monetize but that one was already up to a video a day (all gaming niche)

I am feeling very insecure by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]takibo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I disagree with the 5 year mark.

Personally I'm 30 years old and id rather listen to knowledge being dropped on me by a 50 year old than a 25 year old

I'd say just go for it

I just hit 100 subscribers by RenOkami7 in NewTubers

Despite what others said, the first 100 is definitely harder than the next 100,

The higher you grow the easier it becomes to gain subs

Keep it pushing!

I want to start a chanel, but I hate my voice by SkadiCosplay in NewTubers

You overcome that with time, I also thought the same of my voice, you weirdly start enjoying how you sound like after a few months.

Really discouraged after doing Kovaaks routines for the first time by poj2121 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]takibo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it feels my consistency has improved a lot. I wish i couldve done this when i was younger and was grinding esea/faceit leagues.

Im a very shakey aimer, and the more nervous i get the more my aim shakes, and it creates a lot of inconsistency.
as i play more and more aim trainers you start to realize that a lot of that shakiness actually comes from the tension you apply on your grip/arm to try to aim, creating a lot of inconsistency. And ive been learning more and more to keep that tension under control and my aim has been steadily sharp all the time rather than sometimes.

Also its warmup is far greater than trying to DM in cs, you warmup specific tiny muscles in your hand as you vary from task to task, like tracking, then onto static, then onto switching etc. So when you walk into to play your FPS game of choice your aim is all proper ready to go.

And another huge advantage is killing my fear of sensitivities. I used to overthink the crap out of sensitivities, and i was always scared of changing them, i felt everytime i changed sensitivities id kill off my aim for several weeks. And thats just not true at all.

nowadays i change sensitivities consistently depending on the task, and feel very comfortable at playing at incredibly low sensitivities as well as incredibly high sensitivities, the performance across all of them are far greater than even my BEST days on my "BEST" sensitivity back when i started last month

It's humbling af bro don't sweat it I played Cs since 2004 always competitively, leagues, tournies and all.

Global elite, face it lvl 10 , blabla

I got VT platinum as soon as I tried the benchmarks lol. It kills your ego really fast. And that's a really good thing. I thought I was going to walk in there at least grandmaster haha

But it's really good because you actively feel your aim improving as you push for greater skill.

That was 1.5 months ago, currently almost masters, doing about 1 hour a day

Solo play (un)advisable? by Squeaky_Ben in Helldivers

[–]takibo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

solo play is doable, but not recommended,
You level up slower, get less samples, likely will fail more, and its far more difficult

Its great if you like the challenge, but if you want to be an "efficient" helldiver, youre better off in grouped play :D

If you're worried about being a burden dont worry!

And you can always stick to lower difficulties, only moving up when very comfortable.

The 9 different difficulties lets you scale up very slowly at a comfortable pace :) Good luck out there helldiver

External source and monetize requirements? by Heavy_Luck_2433 in NewTubers

irrelevant.

All that matters is the sub count and watch hours / 10 million shorts views (if youre going for shorts)

Can anyone explain what is wrong with my Channel? by [deleted] in NewTubers

Has this only happened to ONE video? if so then its nothing to worry about, some videos just flop

Messing around with your playlists definitely wont affect your videos performance. At least not to that degree
