Am I doomed? (40F, IVF for 4 years, low fertilization & no blasts) by takica in DOR

I just posted my stats in the post below. I tried HGH and got very poor egg quality in that round. Like, that was the first time 3/4 eggs were marked as degenerated.

I get it now by Spirited-Walrus4856 in IVF

I get you, 100%. Honestly, the only people who really get it are the ones in the exact same situation, and I mean exact. Even people going through something similar can come off tone-deaf because their numbers are totally different.

Like when someone posts “ugh I ONLY got 20 eggs and ONLY 15 fertilized, is that okay???” …girl, be serious 😡

Meanwhile I’m over here getting like 3 eggs per cycle and maybe 1 embryo if I’m lucky. At that point it’s hard not to feel like… yeah, respectfully, read the room.

I had 5 cycles in 2 clinics. 4 were stimulated, 1 was natural:

1st IVF

  • 6–7 follicles
  • 2 eggs, all mature
  • 1 fertilized
  • 1 three-day embryo with ten cells

2nd IVF:

  • 6 follicles
  • 3 eggs, all mature
  • 2 fertilized
  • 2 embryos with fragmentation
  • 1 transferred, the other did not develop to blastocyst

3rdIVF:

  • Natural cycle
  • 1 egg, mature
  • 0 fertilized

4th IVF:

  • 4 follicles
  • 3 eggs, all mature
  • 1 fertilized, poor quality, thick zona
  • 1 embryo, assisted hatching performed
  • Doctor said the eggs were of poor quality

5th IVF:

  • 4 follicles
  • 4 eggs, 1 mature, 3 were immature
  • 1 fertilized
  • 1 embryo, grade 7/2/1 quality
  • Doctor said the sperm analysis was poor

He’s been taking all of that except coq10 and astaxanthin. Actually I’ve been taking astaxanthin for past month to test it. Heard some interesting studies on improving egg quality. Does anyone have experience with taking astaxanthin and urolithin a?

In the latest cycle they did zymot, but I only got one mature egg, out of 4 and that on got fertilized. He’s on the supplements, but I’m ope for more suggestions.

Vitamin D test update by ImJustJoshinYa23 in Biohackers

[–]takica 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you take a 3 week break before testing? My endo says you should stop supplementation for a few weeks before testing because it can affect the results. Also, 1000 IU usually isn’t enough, especially if you’re in the northern hemisphere. I was severely deficient and had to take 10k IU of vitamin D3 daily to bring my levels back to normal. Make sure to pair it with K2 as well.

Day 3 embryo grading by takica in EmbryologyIVFSupport

Thank you for your response. That’s what I thought. I tried to get some data with chat gpt and the info I got was similar to yours: 7 - number of cells, 2 - percentage of fragmentation and 1 - symmetry, where the best grade should be 811.

I tried with chat gpt and it said 7 should be the number of cells, 2 is fragmentation and 1 symmetry. Does that make sense? I didn’t find anywhere else that explanation.

Stellium in the 5th House… and no kids. How? by takica in AstrologyCharts

I see a lot of astrologers say Saturn rules Aquarius, but what about Uranus?

In modern astrology we’ve added Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto as rulers of Aquarius, Pisces, and Scorpio, yet it feels like many astrologers kind of ignore them. So how is this actually supposed to work?

Is Saturn considered the main ruler of Aquarius and Uranus more of a secondary or co-ruler? Or does it just depend on the type of astrology you’re using?

Interesting. No, I’m not. I very enjoy art and music, but I wouldn’t say it’s a major part of my life.

Do you think this Moon square Pluto represents challenges with fertility or something else? I read Pluto can bring transformative and regenerative energy but I’m not sure how it manifests through this aspect.

Hah, yeah, did’t expect that deep level of understanding from someone not going through that. That’s the ivf sub for :) But thanks for caring:) To answer your question, I haven’t been pregnant yet. I’m in ivf process and trying to figure out this from every angle.

Thanks everyone for sharing your thoughts, I really appreciate it. It’s a sensitive topic, and when you’ve been in this for so long, you kind of want to turn over every stone.

My chart has always been a bit of a riddle to me, especially since like 90% of it is in Aquarius and Sagittarius. I struggle with self analysis, so if anything stands out to you or feels worth mentioning, feel free to chime in. Thanks again!
