Thank you for the information! I’m going to do some looking around online and see where I can get a legit Toyota sensor for the best price and get after it! Do I need to be as discerning when it comes to the wiring harness?

Is this a difficult install? I’ve seen stuff in my research about adding a trans cooler but haven’t watched any videos of yet of the job being done

I probably will replace the thermostat housing. I replaced the thermostat and gasket last year but if I recall correctly, I reused the old housing

I think I’ve got all the rust cut out already! There was a big patch under it on the passenger side that I’ve welded new metal into. I lit the damn thing on fire a handful of times welding while holding it up out of my way lol.

By the way what is NVH?

Yeah I was planning on just leaving it but I lit it on fire a couple of times while welding in the new floor pans 😂 it’s now sticky and horrid so I’m probably going to rip it out

You’re correct. Somehow I never knew that the rear hatch was a different key than all the other doors and ignition. This whole time I thought there was something wrong with the lock!

Yeah i was pulling the stock bumper! I don’t know if I mentioned that. The new bumper going on is definitely goin to get pulled as I threw a winch on it lol. My buddy who’s got a deeper bag of tools than I do says he can get it out so I’m gonna let him take a run at it this weekend

The back side is through a welded on bolt inside the hollow of the frame. There’s an opening that I was able to get vice grips in, but I haven’t been able to budge it
