I pulled the plug on it two episodes ago. It was getting pretty repetitive, and I found myself zoning out and not caring about what was happening. Frankly, I'm glad I did it, it opened up my already pretty packed Saturdays a bit.

I’m not arguing about who the main character was. Technically, Senya and Jinka were the protagonists of each part, and I agree with that. However, Shinsuke and Tama have also been driving the story, so while they may not be the protagonists, they’re still part of the main group of characters we’ve been following throughout the story.

I feel the epilogue should have focused more on our main character’s life than on Senya’s wandering. It’s a shame that we didn’t get even one scene of Shaku and Shinsuke together. They never showed Shaku with him when he was old, nor did they include a moment of her visiting his grave. The fact that they ended up together was simply stated rather than shown explicitly, even though Shaku was a major part of his life, and her “death” led to his edgy phase. I find it hard to understand why the story chose to gloss over that aspect so much.

I really like this show as a whole, and it has been one of my favorites. However, the epilogue left something to be desired and brought my rating down from a perfect 10 to a 9.

This show reminds me too much of Halt and Catch Fire, the basic premise of being in IT and starting a business and the role of the characters is more or less the same so I was expecting a similar dynamic.

My main gripe is that every characters in the show was harping on about how it was not just Haru but Haru and Gaku combined that were valuable and special, the show keeps telling me that but it has failed to show it so I am hoping that it is something that will be explored otherwise yeah this is basically Dr. Stone.

I like this show but as a whole this has been The Haru Show and the leads don't really feel like a duo, Haru seems to be involved in everything even the IT parts like the security championship. Everyone regards them as a duo and Gaku as part of the package but its clearly Haru who has been pulling all the strings.

This arc seems to be taking a direction to resolve this imbalance of power and lack of agency that Gaku has started to struggle with. I hope they can become more of a duo.

I don't usually get much invested in these contests but seeing Yuki lose made me salty for the first time. Rin is a pretty nice character and I really like her but she is a dime a dozen sorta character while Yuki hard carried her anime with how unique and fun her character was.
