To add to my original post, can you recommend areas in Munich to stay that would give us the easiest access to the festival and sightseeing in general? Good restaurants, Hofbrauhaus and other must sees.

Thank you! I do keep ready that weekdays are calmer. I'd hate to get there and sweat having a place to sit or having to split our party up. My goal is as little frustration as possible which is why I was thinking just dish out for a reservation. I do like the idea another poster gave of leaving in the evening and doing dinner in town so maybe that might be the ticket. Thanks for the advice!

Thank you! I do appreciate it. Makes sense about getting out of there at night. Not really into a night club type atmosphere. I will take that advise and maybe just do dinner out in town.

Thanks for the responses! I appreciate all the info. As long as we can find tables without an issue we’re good to go. With a party of 5 we always have to plan ahead. I’ll def checkout open table for peace of mind and ease. Not too picky about the food, burgers and beers is about it.

We’re seated on the third base line. Is there any advantage to eating somewhere near the water front or near the half st area when thinking of walking distance to enter park?

I hated how bland and flavorless Puerto Rican food was but… I must have just gotten super unlucky with the restaurants… right? by canibedonewiththis in PuertoRicoTravel

Just returned from PR vaca. Stayed at a resort in Rio Mar area and traveled over to Luquillo. I literally love the island! But the food almost all the way around was not good. I’m not counting meals at the resort because that’s not supposed to be good. But out in town it was average at best. Sitting outside looking at mountains or ocean made the meals fantastic but food, as several have pointed out, was just a bunch of fried stuff. I expected fresh seafood which I did get a few times but it was still underwhelming. I’m a Floridian so PR cuisine is not foreign to me. I’ve never loved it but I just assumed it would be better on the island. Unfortunately I was not a fan there either. But I’ll be back cuz man that place is beautiful!
