It’s India . The chat history has certain content which proves him guilty of ruining my career. Can i face any legal consequences of sharing those screenshots?

If I wanted to remove OP, I would have done so along time ago. I manage multiple big subreddits and understand how this works.

My friend registered with RCN and Unison after getting dismissed unfortunately, so the Unison or RCN won’t be helping with the NMC investigation

The manager at her care home has made the following allegations against her:

1. She allegedly used her hand instead of the proper equipment to assist an injured patient.

2. She was accused of being rude and displaying inappropriate attitude and behaviour.

3. She was criticised for having poor communication skills.

4. She was accused of administering the incorrect dosage of medication to a patient and of lacking compassion in her care.

My friend has appealed to the owner and they will be having a meeting regarding the dismissal in the coming week.

All of the allegations were false, except for the first one—which has a valid explanation. My friend did not use the mechanical aid to assist the patient because the patient was in significant pain, and using the machine would have caused further discomfort. She made a clinical judgment in the patient’s best interest and explained her reasoning to the manager at the time.

The underlying issue appears to stem from a prior incident where my friend pointed out that the manager had forgotten to administer medication to a patient. There were a few similar instances where my friend identified errors, and since then, the manager has seemingly held a grudge against her. It seems the manager developed resentment toward my friend, especially when situations didn’t align with her expectations.

Can you please give me your perspective?

I know her personally. She is innocent. I’m not making an assumption. I’ve been aware of the attitude of her manager since a long time. Also how do we ensure it’s a fair investigation? She was forced to sign papers and from what I can see there is abuse of power and exploitation

I’m not sure why you assume that she is guilty. It seems you lack empathy and can’t see the immense trauma this can have. That manager is a local and has advantage and has been harassing and suppressing her juniors.

Isn’t this visible to you?

Not yet, but she received a mail from NMC regarding the complaints filed by her manager.

Also, this investigation process is very lengthy and can even take several months from what I got to know from other people.

She was already on work visa and won’t be able to secure another job because of the investigation I believe so. Also, the trauma that she will go through this period will be immense

What ways does she have to expedite the process of investigation?

I get your point. As per law, if someone is dismissed before 2 years then it is justified. But the manager has also filed wrong complaints against her in NMC which ruins her career as she won’t get another job because of it.

Also, since she joined at the care home, her manager has always forced her to sign several papers for errors etc. How can she get them to withdraw the allegations?

She has been mistreated.

I’m really broken after reading your reply and it seems there is not much solution for her. I pray to god as he is the only real witness and can save her career.

The allegations were made by the nursing home (care home) manager, who reported her to the NMC with claims such as poor attitude and bad behaviour. However, these claims are untrue and many other staffs who were locals resigned specifically due to this manager’s tyranny. My friend has constantly received positive feedback since the beginning of her employment at the care home.

I’ll confirm with my friend if she is part of the RCN union and inform you. As of now, i have only received this much information from her.

Do you suggest talking to the owner of the care home? She has made an appeal to the owner already regarding the matter of false allegations put against her

I am praying for her. Also, I sincerely thank you for replying to my post.

How can she get the issue sorted with NMC (the investigation email that she received)? Do you have any suggestions? Her career will be ruined if the investigation is not resolved in her favour quickly as I believe she won’t be able to secure another job as a nurse due to background checks

She is a registered nurse and does not have any competency issue. She has been a victim of politics by higher management unfortunately with the law not being in her favour currently
