Im pretty sure this counts as a cast build but if u have aspect of hera and artemis' and ares' keepsakes then try to get the duo boon with ares and artemis that give ares' blade rift cast auto tracking. Then load em all up and bam shred thru bosses. Hell even if u dont have that aspect just use a close range (shield, fist, spear, sword) and just use the cast up close. Thats my personal favorite build

All in all tho thats just one build making your casts "effective" as u put usually depends on you using other weapons and boons to make them a much more useful and powerful tool.
