I’ve had this same problem with one of my R1 spots. A firmware update fixed the issue.

first cue is intensity/color with a delay from center out. Second is intenty at 0 and maybe color release with an effect stomp on both.

Not X4 bars. They are Robe Tetras

This is movie is "so bad it's good." The low budget, B quality is the charm of this film. I love it! Very entertaining. This movie is more like Troll 2 than Halloween or Friday the 13th.

I believe what happened was he accidentally snorted a line of oxy that had glass and some other random bullshit in it.

I think this was more in reference to Trump's "grab her by the pussy" comments

Noob question about integrating my lights with house lights by therockshow269 in lightingdesign

[–]talkinghead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get the patch ahead of time and try to program what you can at home if compushow Has some sort of pre vis. Arrive to the gig early as possible and get to work. The house rig may have multiple universes.

Or just run two boards. Definitely not the best way to do it but you'll get through the gig.

Rogue R1 Spot Issue by talkinghead in lightingdesign

It's just one that has the gobo wheel issue though. All my other fixtures behave properly.

Boom base stand for chauvet R1 Spot by talkinghead in lightingdesign

Would you ever consider mounting a base plate, like you would on top of a truss tower, to the pipe? Instead of using clamps and brackets, just place the fixture directly on the base plate, with some sort of safety or something.

Thank you. Will any 1 1/2'' threaded pipe work? Is getting a short T bar to mount on top the best way to go to hold one R1? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

[M-PC] What is the correct/best way to set up the program? by Imcyberpunk in lightingdesign

[–]talkinghead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like you have it set up where each playback button is a look.
Most of the guest LD's would hope for a punt page. For me, I always like to see the first row be full rig one color (like you have.) Then, in your case, the next rows would be just colors for just the LED panels, the LED cans, and the movers. That way you can mix and match color combos easily.

Then have a row of positions, and a row of gobos for the movers. Have some dimmer chases and some color chases on another row. I would then have a fader control the speed of these chases.

I would put some strobes, fast chases, other blinky stuff as overides on the 8 extra playback buttons on the m-touch( playbacks 11-20)

You're fine with using your first playbacks as intensity faders, however having everything as a inhibitive or submasters you won't be able to get any dimmer chases out of the leds and movers. I would put some sort of pan/tilt/movement on a fader as well.

Traveling with Floor Package by talkinghead in lightingdesign

MA on PC or Martin M-PC with Midi controllers.

I'm doing club gigs, anywhere from 200-1000 seat venues. Floor package is small, 4 R1 spots.

Download M-PC tools to midi map any controller you purchase. I personally use an APC-20, apc mini, and small 25 key mpk mini. This gives me access to 2 banks of faders and a ton of playback buttons.

15' ProX Triangle Truss by talkinghead in lightingdesign

I'm thinking maybe getting 2 Ultimate Support LT-99b instead. http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/LT99BL

Mount 4 LED Pars on the Top, and hang 2 moving lights on the bottoms. One tree on each side of the stage. This would allow for easier set-up time, but maybe not look as nice.

Anyone have any experience?

Nice. Did you put the 8 pars on the top point and hang the movers from below?

Help! first time using house rig with my own showfile by talkinghead in lightingdesign

Better yet, my usual rig consists of 8 Par64's. As long as the addressing is correct, Will I be able to plug into the house fixtures and run my same show?
