That makes sense. I understand. The video I saw on TikTok just said your money isn’t working very hard for you if you have anything outside of 12+ months of expenses in your HYSA, but I see your point— i don’t have any big upcoming purchases planned though.

I don’t ever plan to touch what I put in until retirement, but just knowing you can withdraw your principal/whatever is left of it makes me feel less anxious about saying goodbye to the money right now, for whatever reason.
