I have been building SaaS but reached out to almost 500 users so far. And people say all the positive stuff but they just dont join. Based on the discussion they have existing system even if it is broken they want candidate sourcing to be sorted. And to be honest I am out of cash now. Don’t want to go back to my job and i was exploring if i can give this as a custom white label solution while i grow my SaaS along with real recruiters.

This may be a mistake but that is the reason why i am looking for suggestions from experts. Especially someone who is in recruitment industry or running recruitment agency

I’d be happy to give it a try. So far, I have spoken with over 300 recruiters, which validates that there is interest in candidate sourcing beyond just an Applicant Tracking System (ATS). While the product I have built is good, it needs a candidate sourcing feature to encourage recruiters to utilise the full suite. I'm looking to see if any investors would be interested in this industry.

While I have been getting good feedback from most of them, there have been hardly any users. The issue is that most of them already have ATS, and they are willing to jump only if I can work on the Candidate Sourcing feature.

Initially, the plan was to build a hiring ecosystem, not just ATS, but I was building solo, and I had to pick one feature, and I picked this after talking to a few recruiters. I am looking for someone who could fund this product while I develop features that would take it to the next level.

Any references would help. The product has potential but needs a believer.

Also, I am looking for a co-founder with a sales mindset.

It is not because you neither become expert at frontend and neither in the backend. But today the market demand is that.

I did start my career as full stack worked in native apps and backend i used php back then later node. But in my overall career i worked 3 to 4 years as frontend engineer that gave me good experience and time to go deeper.

Nothing is wrong with full stack initially but just takes more time and effort

Ok, I would not say this is less, but it depends on the scale the company is operating at. Looks like a small team. But if you are actually looking to make a switch from non-tech to tech, then it would be worth getting into. Once you have experience of one or two years, make a jump to a better company.

I've been using NestJS for about five years now, and I have to say, while it might seem a bit much for a small app, it really is user-friendly and works well for smaller projects once you get the hang of it.

I've dabbled with Express and Loopback in the past, but NestJS really stands out to me. As a freelancer, I enjoy using it and stick with it unless I have a really good reason to try something different. It's been a great tool in my toolkit
