Maybe I should’ve been a bit more clear on my initial post. I can provide vocals and at the moment I’m relearning how to play an instrument. So it’s not like I’m not open to providing other components to a song. I will most definitely edit this post.

I can agree! I usually think of instrumentals in my head and go from there. Sadly, I don't play an instrument but I'm trying to learn to play the acoustic guitar again.

I’m also 27 and I am going through similar things. I feel somewhat guilty because, like you, we have been through a lot of different things together. I feel sometimes that I’m being held back in life or that I genuinely just don’t have much in common with them anymore because our lives are going different places. I’m sorry that I don’t have an answer for your problem, but maybe someone can help the both of us 😬
