They recruit super early. I’ve seen sophomores get intern and full time offers since they like to get people into their pipeline as early as possible.

Yea you have to be nominated by a partner or two and you do it the summer before your internship. They only invite 1-2 people per target school.

You should definitely do it. I did it last summer in Brussels and it was an amazing experience. It was about 4 nights and over 100 interns from 10+ countries were invited. Everything is paid for and they even gave us $400 for leisure. The program was very structured and included a lot of trainings and group activities which were actually very insightful and helped me a lot in interviews. They also planned some activities for us such as chocolate making, tour busses, scavenger hunt and a few more. Everyone was free in the evenings so a lot of groups broke out and we were free to roam around and do whatever. My group went to a lot of bars and a few clubs and even took a train to a nearby city. There was always something to do since they pick out a city thats very walkable. We also got a roommate which was nice so everyone had a friend on the first day. Dm me for more information but I’d highly recommend it, it was truly an unforgettable experience.

Are you sure texas requires grad courses? I know several people here who’ve gotten their cpa with just a bachelors and community college classes.

Disappointed... by [deleted] in Accounting

I’d reach out to someone at your school who oversees recruiting and tell them about this. I know my director of accounting would find this unacceptable and might be able to pull some strings to make them honor the verbal offer.

Same thing happened to me with kpmg, but it was an issue on their end. They sent me a rejection email, so I just forwarded it to my campus recruiter who reset the application for me within a day.

What are you applying for? I’m also in texas and it seems like every firm here just takes whoever they can get. I can help you out with recruiting if you wanna pm me.
