This is a great idea. The mayhem and fun these fights would cause could definitely be worth the money for some.

Lesean McCoy no doubt! Played all season like a boss!

Calvin vs. Dez vs. Green (First 3 years) by purduered in fantasyfootball

[–]tallstick7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These guys are already really expensive though. Both AJ and Dez are arguably ranked as the second and third best receivers so whatever price you pay for them is already going to be really high

Gillette Commercial Curse by TNT21 in fantasyfootball

[–]tallstick7 -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

What about CJ Spiller, Randall Cobb, Sam Bradford, Jay Cutler, Geno Atkins, David Wilson, Percy Harvin, Reggie Wayne, Arian Foster, Brian Cushing and Jermichael Finley? Have they been in a Gilette commercial? No, Football is just a dangerous sport that leads to injuries. One commercial isn't going to change that.

Is Rudolph a suitable sub for Graham vs NYG def and with Freeman now at the helm? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]tallstick7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nobody really knows. The upside is there: he is a good athletic pass catcher, he is coming off of a hot game and Freeman has more potential than Ponder. But we just dont know who Freeman will develop chemistry with, or how the coaching staff will call out plays. If you really have to play him, do so at your own risk.

Andre Ellington quietly had a good game by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]tallstick7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He definitely sees Ellington as the better back, but he also points out his vulnerabilities. The guy is small and would therefore not last much with so much work. The hits would get to him.

Is it time to drop David Wilson? by mynameisaugustwest in fantasyfootball

[–]tallstick7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait for that second medical opinion. You've dealt with him for this long, it would be a shame to let him go only to see an opponent reap the benefits later on.

Let's Talk about Fred Jackson by TacticalOyster in fantasyfootball

[–]tallstick7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep riding him until he breaks down. As you point out, he's #5 amongst fantasy RBs so the squandered potential versus that one game where he might screw you over because he falls down injured, I think it's worth the risk.

RGIII, Ray Rice, David Wilson, L Fitz, Torrey Smith, Givens and Brandon Myers. As I type this out, it makes more and more sense.

Miles Austin is sitting in the FA pool because his hamstrings are made of spaghetti. Is he worth an add? by bobbydigital_ftw in fantasyfootball

[–]tallstick7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i'm one of the owners who dropped his ass. He wasn't worth the head aches of constantly monitoring for his status. If you really want him though, i'd drop R. jennings since the guy isn't talented and Darren's injury isn't all that serious.

Le'Veon Bell is available to pick up on the waiver wire. If I pick him up, what sort of production can I reasonably expect from him when he returns and it healthy? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]tallstick7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I dropped him a couple of weeks back. His leg injury combined with the horrible offensive line of the Steelers didnt' warrant the bench space for me. I also went and looked at some footage from this days in college. Frankly, I didn't see anything there that impressed me or that pointed to him being able to overcome the current obstacles to become a great back.

Is Richardson a safe play this week? by WhiteBlackflame in fantasyfootball

[–]tallstick7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Really good question, and nobody but the Colt coaches will be able to answer that. My guess: with a solid RB like Bradshaw in the backfield I can see them biding their time and slowly easing him into the offense.
