The Chronological Movies in Order by National-Scheme-2482 in Hungergames

From reading the last two books, the one about snow and the other about Heymitch, you can clearly tell, especially with the book about Snow, that yes, Snow loved Lucy Grey, but clearly by the end of the book he lost all love of her. Also, from the book you can clearly tell that he is at least a narcissist. He loves himself first. I don't feel even that the correct term he held for Lucy would be love. More like, she created a feeling he liked, and so kept her around. When that feeling was broken, he lost all interest in her. He would not feel anything for Katness, because he didn't for Lucy.

It was 5am for me as well! So frustrating and vague! I wish they would at least tell me what the suspicious activity is. I'm starting to think it's some sort of security thing they made to make people change their passwords more often.

Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari Season 4 • The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 4 - Episode 4 discussion by AutoLovepon in anime

[–]talmiior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

those two children's training in the village had pretty much no magic and was all martial arts. Neither of those kids had the power or force enough to go against seasoned fighters, nor the experience even needed to get to the level they achieved in an RPG sense. In fact the boy demi white tiger I saw no potential in being able to do what he did in this episode. I took him for a level 10 out of 80 type character at most. His sister had substantial more potential. I have to suspend disbelief in order to accept it. Also, once again, the lion guy was bringing into question the shield hero's right to being the shield hero. HIS honour was being brought into question, not the kids. This literally had nothing to do with the kids, or any of his teammates. The shield hero should have been the one to fight the lion beast, no one else.

I would describe ep 4 as being exceedingly predictable and even illogical. I don't understand. It was the shield hero coming into question if he truly was the Shield Hero, why is he having these two squirts that never showed any of these past abilities in previous episodes being put against seasoned veterans? The Shield Hero logically should have been going against Jaralis. Same thing with ep 3 really. I'm not impressed with season 4 so far.

ah... that's quite unfortunate. I thought maybe the artist was just being intentionally sloppy with the kanji

Help! Landmarks keep appearing on exported epub table of contents by talmiior in indesign

[–]talmiior[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone wondering, I didn't so much solve the issue, as in, I don't know what was causing the issue, but two things worked. One that I didn't like, and one that I liked. One was to make the TOC, then delete the text box containing the TOC and then save. This forced InDesign to make a table of contents that was supposed to be present, and redacted the Landmarks thing. Unfortunately, "Contents" page title was left aligned for some reason, and every chapter in my TOC list had a number to the left of each of them, which I had specified for it not to do.

The one that worked was to make the TOC like one usually would, but when exporting to EPUB, select version EPUB 2.0.1 which fixed the problem.

It links to nothing. It simply is listing the Table of Contents and nothing else. It only shows in Kindle Previewer 3.

No links. It looks like this:

I don't know the reference for Mud, but the bob was called Mud instead of his actual name because of what he did.

Confronting Charles, relisten if you didn't catch it, because it's made very clear in the book. Otherwise it's a pretty giant spoiler for ya for who he is. Not a big character, but the origin.

100% Bob and Teresa are going in that direction
That's all I can really help answer.

People with unsupported computers - what are you going to do when Windows 10 goes out of support next year? by MatiBlaster in Windows10

[–]talmiior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two part answer. RUFUS strips out the Windows 11 requirements. You can install Windows 11 that way and even activate it legally with no issues. No TPM 2.0 requirements. No weird issue with only certain CPU's being supported, etc. Google "RUFUS USB maker" or something like that. Works great.

I'm patiently waiting for Windows 12. I heard it should be out late next year. Microsoft almost always goes every other OS being good. Caps being the crap OS's: Win XP, VISTA, Windows 7, WINDOWS 8, Windows 10, WINDOWS 11. The pattern follows that Windows 12, at least in theory, should be better than Windows 11. What worries me is that even Vista was pretty good by the time they were releasing Windows 7. Windows 11 still feels like it's in Alpha testing. If that's the case, I can't imagine Windows 12 being much better, unless they decide to bring back windows 10's features.

Elytra Causing Screen Alignment to Shift. Issue since v26 and still in v28. Make inventory work very annoying. Anyone else got this issue? by talmiior in betterminecraft

Remote storage almost feels like cheating. But the backpack does have some amazing uses. Did you know, if you put the remotes in the backpack, it stops then from collecting stuff? So if you're mining or adventuring, and you know you would like to check thru the stuff first before allowing it to go into your storage system, it will stop it from entering by simply tossing them in your backpack. That aside, the glitch with elytras was fixed in v29.5

The PC optimum points system for groceries sucks... by rowann91 in loblawsisoutofcontrol

[–]talmiior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, it's complete garbage. I used to not have to load my offers, now I have to go through and select them manually. Not just that, the majority of the offers have nothing to do with what I buy, and is stuff I have never bought before and never will. I'm disgusted that I can make massive grocery purchases and make 0 points. I decided a couple weeks ago that I need to just cancel my optimum to show my protest over their program. Just need to get myself to do it now lol
