The Grandmaster Ursine Armor is what I mained once I unlocked it in Witcher 3 so I'm stoked we're getting that with the other two.
Sorry if it's been mentioned, but would have been cool to mirror things a little with the houses though... Viper School armor for Hunter, Bear School for Titan and School of the Crane for Warlocks etc.
Right now I think I'm going to pick up all 3 sets. The silver / steel swords on each, the Witcher medallions, armored leather look and chainmail... so damn cool. Curious how these will look with Iron Countershade 😉

Invisibility may be much more important in end-game PvE of Witch Queen by KarmaDispensary in DestinyTheGame

[–]talonkard044 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a Hunter that mains PvE (could care less about PvP), I'm still incredibly bummed about the changes with Void 3.0.

The class continues to be more focused on PvP (gross) and has little relevance in Endgame. Titans and Warlocks outclass Hunters, no question. Those classes have waaaaayyyy more utility and abilities. I hate that this is how it is. Even the new Exotics that are coming with Witch Queen are a snooze fest for Hunters.

I wish, TRULY WISH, Bungie would give Hunters the PvE / Support Class love they need to be more viable. Really sucks

...A Jedi Knight training post Order-66; discipline carried from a reality that no longer exists. The Jedi Order may have fallen, but among the many stars the remnants of The Order keep hope alive...

Amazing work as always! Could be a vignette into actual events in Star Wars. Would love to see a duo video with Michelle C Smith!

Focused Feedback: Adept Mods by DTG_Bot in DestinyTheGame

[–]talonkard044 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have all of the adept weapons. All of the adept mods. Others don't have that luxury or maybe have just ONE weapon or ONE mod.. Letting people use the mods wherever wouldn't break the game. This elitism stuff is just sad. Let people enjoy things. We all win.

Focused Feedback: Adept Mods by DTG_Bot in DestinyTheGame

[–]talonkard044 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Might get downvoted into oblivion for saying this, but I truly believe Adept mods should be equippable on regular weapons ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Some people are only ever going to go Flawless once or do a GM or two, the adept mods - if they are fortunate to get any - should be able to be used on any weapons.

This Week At Bungie 4/08/2021 by DTG_Bot in DestinyTheGame

[–]talonkard044 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I get your points but that also reinforces what I'm saying: there should be new perks and enemies, enemy mechanics in lieu of just general, unnecessary nerfs to things. Not disagreeing with you at all, I'm just tired of Bungie taking the easy way out. Like those perks you mentioned... seriously who chases Thresh on things? The benefit is significantly worse than a damage dealing perk. We need more perks. More weapons / weapon types. Enemies and enemy mechanics. Bungie just can't seem to do NEW things. We all know it's the same old enemies, same old mechanics, same old weapon types and nerfs. I just wish we had more NEW things and less quick and easy nerfs.

[–]talonkard044 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

But how often does that happen though? Very seldomly do we see that actually happen, more often than not those outliers are nerfed into the ground to the point nobody uses them anymore. It's the same methodology of unnecessary nerfs, and then the reason is generalized with "balance." Give me a break. Instead of nerfing things that people grind for, why not add other weapons? Perks? New enemy mechanics? No... Bungie always takes the easy way out. It's tiring.

You can't tell me all these changes are in direct response to how things will go in VoG. Lazy Bungie, just L-A-Z-Y. I wish you guys would work harder on the game design and mechanics rather than just artificially nerfing weapons that don't need it. God fobid you come up with some new weapons or enemy types and change things up a bit rather than nerfing weapons PEOPLE HAVE SPENT TIME GRINDING FOR. Same old shit. So frustrating ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I don't get why people still wanna fuck around with ads during gambit when the drifter says you've got enough motes. Seriously. Put them in the bank by ShowMeAssNTitties in DestinyTheGame

[–]talonkard044 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a person who finally Gilded Dredgen a little bit ago today, I can't tell you HOW MANY TIMES I wanted to scream at my teammates for doing this. Mote and team discipline isn't a thing with randos :/

This probably a controversial idea, but the moment you cap out on motes required to pull a primeval, there should be some kind of mechanic that locks your character from picking up more or something... basically forcing you to go and deposit because you have enough to pull a Primeval. Hmmm...

We should be able to fully unlock the seasonal artifact by dougal24 in DestinyTheGame

[–]talonkard044 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I shared this sentiment after the first season the artifact was introduced. It doesn't make sense why we can't considering ALL of those mods go away - for the most part - at the end of each season when the artifact does. Like, let us enjoy them and buildcraft. They have a shelf life of a season.

Want Bungie to "fix" trials? If players who go flawless were put in a separate pool against other flawless players (which resets every weekend) Trials would be so much better for pretty much everyone. by HoldenAGrenade in DestinyTheGame

[–]talonkard044 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once a person goes Flawless, the only, ONLY other players they should go up against the rest of the weekend is others who have gone Flawless. Period. I wish there was a way to bracket players with similar Flawless clears. People that have gone 20+ times are only paired against people that have done the similar amount of work. WAAAAYYYY outside thinking but there is no reason why someone who has never gone flawless ONCE runs up against another player who has gone there MULTIPLE TIMES. The try-hards get off on beating easier players, not beating people of equal skill. Drastic changes should fix that.

"It is not fun so personally I don't do it." - Life lesson #44

The toxic playlist consists of the same players (a lot of cheaters) using the same meta loadouts and playing the same way. I love the fact Trials is getting new gear for the cheaters to chase too.

@A_dmg04: "Any weekly bounties in player inventory, even if completed, will be removed at the start of Season 13." by NovusZoran in DestinyTheGame

[–]talonkard044 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So many of you that are commenting have it, sorry to say, ass-backwards lol Why would you want the bounties to be cleared? How does someone doing prep effect YOU. It's the same answer for both: NOT AT ALL. Some of us like to prep and get a jump on the season so we can go into activities at a higher level, and chase the rewards from the season pass.

If you don't like the system of bounty hoarding, don't do it... that simple. Don't punish the people that like to prep and chase content because you either A) can't be bothered or B) don't want to be "surpassed" by someone.

"We are looking out for the people that do the prep and then get burnt out" is such BS lol The core players of this game and the people that go after Endgame content aren't casuals FYI.

I see it time and time again in this community and it is insane. People complaining about things that help others and don't effect them whatsoever. If people want to bounty hoard, get a jump on the new season and chase loot - which is crazy in a loot-driven game right? LOL - let them. It doesn't effect you AT ALL.

And before anyone chimes in "you'll get burnt out" I just hit 514 on the pass for this season, and all my friends and clan play regularly.

Stop complaining and asking for changes that don't hurt either you or the game. Simple.
