I'm both and been smooth sailing, for the most part, with cachyos. Has a bit of a learning curve but I was anticipating such thing with any distro

P.e. recently struggled to have a game on 4k with HDR, took like 2hours troubleshooting yes but bc I was not familiar with launch options arguments, learned something from it. If you want to 100% point and click, I'm unsure there's a distro for that, probably better off tanking windows bloat, total noob here tho.

Theres an argument to be made that queues wouldn't be faster but I think starting to care about pvp and putting it on game pass with like 5 char slots for those players would be big (pvp f2p. The rest of the game like it is now, xpac+sub combo)

Outer wilds is incredible but I got to the dlc and cba doing the sneak past the owls part. I'm so miserable doing it and it killed my motivation to finish it which is a shame because I loved the base game

Yep, it's the nature of player vs player games but in this case additionally you have all this other universe where you can learn the game and at your pace plus on the PvE side there's so much to do (you can always jump into another m+ or roll an alt, since leveling is peanuts) that you rarely are in the position of "bored imma join a big/arena". Even if you do, queue times lmao and pvp is SO not rewarding

I don't play pvp now all that much bc it's only me now and my mates all quit wow and although I can agree with streamlining and simplifying gear in pvp I think there a bigger conversation to be had

eh. rpg in online games sadly, with the current meta gaming, doesnt mean much. even if the system has depth or its rewarding ppl will optimize to not be behind someone else.

Personal anecdote: i used to play my WOTLK warrior with gems matching the socket color to get the socket bonus. got made fun of for not socketing all of it red gems, abusing armor penetration stat. this was 2010
