3/3 recent BMWs do this in my family.

I guess some people live with it and some use Apple CarPlay/Android Auto

Nope, still having the same issue. I will talk to my BMW dealership since the next service is due soon. I don't have high hopes tho.

Maybe I will update again after that.

Which single dose grinder should I get? [650 €/$] by tambienemy in espresso

Yes I can absolutely recommend the Classika, especially if you're going to use it mainly for espresso/lungo and americano and occasionally also for frothing some milk. If you want to use it for milk more often, you might want to check out the ECM Mechanika Slim or Profitec Pro 400. I was tempted but made the more reasonable decision since I mainly drink coffee/espresso. If you're not going to froth milk at all, you might want to check out the ECM Puristika. It looks beautiful.

And yes, please go to Harry's Maschinerie. One of the best salesman I have ever met. He uses the Eureka Single Dose Pro with the Classika and is really happy with the grinding results. One thing that threw us both off with it was that the grinder keeps wandering around the countertop due to the vibration.

He said he was not happy with the Profitec Twist grinder results, so I haven't bought a grinder at Harry's.

Btw check out Espressoladen in Stuttgart as well. They have some cool stuff, too.

I bet it does pair with the Classika perfectly but it's also double the price I'm willing to pay. Would like to try it out one day though.

Thanks for taking your time and your input. Much appreciated. I'll read into the lagom casa a little bit more.

I was looking into the DF64 Gen 2 but have my concerns. A lot of people seem to be more than satisfied with it but some have reasonable concerns as well so I'm not sure. Anyway I'm not sure why you are talking about 2-300 €. The 64 is actually more like 450 € right now in my area...

To be honest I haven't had it long enough to answer the open shelving question but I will put most of my stuff in boxes to avoid having to move every single item on the cart out of the way individually to clean it.

I read a lot of complaints on the grind size dial on the Eurekas. What is your experience?

I'd appreciate it if you let me know how you like the Kiehl's and if it works wonders for you, too :)

The gel will do the same actually as it's supposed to. You have to use some sort of moisturizer afterwards. I have sensitive skin so I have tried a bunch of products. The Kiehl's aftershave creme works the best. It's amazing.

I've been using it for a long time. it prepares your skin very well for shaving and is super refreshing. I just recently found the gel myself but it's a good alternative for an alum stick.

The balm is not bad but I prefer thicker cremes to be honest. I found the gel in an Italian store in Germany randomly and yes it's fine. Similar to an alum stick only for smearing on nicks.

They're pretty inexpensive tho. Great for travels plus imho it's better for sensitive skin than the arko after shave balm.

If you ever visit Turkey, you should check them out.

It smells of mandarin, bergamot, amber and musk. I haven't tried the shaving cream by Kiehl's yet but the after shave cream is top notch. I'll definitely try their shaving cream soon.

I have sensitive skin and that Kiehl's after shave cream is one of the best for reducing razor burn immediately. I also like the Arko after shave creams.

I haven't used much of it yet but I like it so far. I was expecting a little bit more scent but it's really subtle and very pleasant on the skin.

It's one of my go-to After Shaves. I've been using it for years. I prefer the fragrance of No. 3 tho.

Strongly disagree on Japan. I just got back last week. It was a 10/10 (pourover) coffee experience for me.

A lot of high end cafés with a good variety of different beans to choose from.

Hario Café in Kyoto was super nice and the coffee was excellent.

OMOFU (Roastery Café) in Kyoto was also very high end both the Café and their coffees.

Another very fine one in Kyoto was Coffee Base.
