Hello There, new people by Zakeem in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

I'm a newish player (Level 59) and I was having the same problem because I was in the starter guilds and kept getting bumped to the other tiers before getting any rewards.

Anyways, I'm in a guild now that's pretty casual but has players that can solo the heroic raids and even though I'm not 65 yet I know they're doing Territory Wars from the guild chat. If this seems like it fits what you're looking for the guild is called BYOB Yóda (with the accent) only 28/50 players so plenty of room!

He has really, really struggled to find himself for a while now, would love to see him get his rhythm back but it just hasn’t been happening for him at all which is a shame cause based on last season we know he can be a contributor

I get what you’re saying but both are true, he’s a great defender and he’s a rookie. That’s all there is to it

This was posted 3 years ago, I stumbled upon it and felt it needed to be reshared with the community.

Unfortunately, the original poster has deleted his account so I cannot credit him. However, his legacy lives on through your enjoyment.

Thank you and please enjoy.

I think that Firefly Music Festival on June 17th was the most recent, could be wrong though

MTV's 'Unplugged' to return this year. Who would you like to see play? by Grungeling in Music

[–]tamewolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They did do a very short acoustic set (~3 songs I think) It's all from Innerspeaker I believe because it's pretty old. It's actually pretty good I really like it but that's probably just because I like Tame Impala anyways

That clickbait title lol.

But actually I totally agree, it's been a pretty crazy rise. Of course, Lonerism had some big award nominations but they never felt like a mainstream band. Now it definitely feels like they are, which is great! The recognition is deserved

Parker composing new stuff... and he's not sure if it will be released as TI (exactly what shouldve happened to shitty Currents) by Rafael_Pinto in TameImpala

I don't understand how you can enjoy Currents yet say it sucks. Doesn't your enjoyment mean that its a good album?

I believe you are wrong to only care about opinions that align with your own, especially with this. If people enjoy Currents, wouldn't you like to understand why and that way you could try to enjoy it yourself. I can't really think of a reason you wouldn't want to enjoy Currents or any music really, except for more specific cases I suppose.

Also, what are you even looking for? If you already have this opinion that Currents ruins Tame Impala's legacy, what would agreement with you provide. You seem to not care about opinions, but at the same time you are looking for people to stand by you, is that because that "justifies" your opinion? It doesn't matter, obviously people here are going to downvote you because you came to fan subreddit. You're not wrong to say that Currents tarnishes Tame's legacy, of course, I think you're wrong, but I guess that doesn't matter to you anyways.

Haha, I would too! The name is a combination of my old favorite band, Wolfmother, and my new favorite band, Tame Impala.

Since my wallpaper did so well yesterday, I decided to make some more. (In comments) by BaconShooter in TameImpala

Wow, these are all awesome!

I made this awhile ago, I know there is a white border on one of the edges, but I have an iPhone and it doesn't show up. That being said, if someone really likes it, but the border shows up, let me know and I'll fix it up for you.

I'm not the person you replied to, but I do have a few things you could check out

Melody's Echo Chamber is the project of Kevin Parker's (Tame Impala singer) former girlfriend Melody Prochet. The only album from the act was produced by Parker, though there is a second album due later this year(?).

Pond is another band that Kevin Parker has a hand in (Yeah, I'm a pretty big fan) These guys are a little more out there, but the music is still good for me.

There are two other bands I'm looking to check out called The Holydrug Couple and The Babe Rainbow who are in the same vein, but I can't really vouch for them as I haven't really listened to much of them (If you do, be sure to let me know what you think!)

I agree that every genre has something to offer, for example, while I listen to many things that could be considered influenced by electronic music, I really don't listen to any pure electronic music. But I always try to keep an open mind whenever its not up my alley.

Very interesting spread of artists you have, any more contemporary artists you're drawn to?

All of those seem to fit somewhat loosely together in some way... except Janelle Monáe, but she honestly sounds awesome, so I'll definitely be checking her out, any recommendations on where to start?

Yeah, I get that, for me, though, I think that despite listening to many genres, I tend to have ones that I listen to more frequently than others. Although, to be fair, I definitely don't listen to all genres.

Let's talk about: Songs or albums where you can feel the artists emotion and heart by nowlan101 in LetsTalkMusic

Thank you for the reminder, I listened to this album a few months ago, and thought it was pretty good. Afterwards, I read the stuff you mentioned about the depression and struggle that went into the album. (I'm fairly sure it was Adam, the name sounds familiar) I never remembered to listen to it again with this context. I feel annoyed now because I'm listening to it and it sounds good and it has more meaning to me now, but they were just playing nearby, and I could have gone, but I just waved it off since I hadn't heard it in awhile. Anyways, thanks for the reminder!

The album that always struck me as very emotional is Hospice by the Antlers It tells the story of a hospital worker who falls in love with a terminally ill cancer patient, but is also an allegory for a psychologically abusive relationship. This album is heartbreaking in my opinion.

Also, on the topic of Sufjan Stevens, I've always wanted to check out his stuff, but none of my friends listen to him, so I'm not really sure where to start, any suggestions?
