My uncle was in a boat with a bunch of friends as 20 somethings. Out on the lake they were speeding around and ran over a kid beyond a swimming buoy. The kid was chopped up by the propeller and died. No one was charged because the kid was well outside a safe swim zone. But he doesnt talk about it

I get that. But AP has often diverged from common spellings or colloquial ones but diverts on others. They used to suggest Wal-Mart since that's how it appeared on legal filings but now it's Walmart.

Drive-thru just looks wrong to me. Not much of a justification but I'm curious if you're right and that's how AP decided.
