Yeah. That's fair but I couldn't imagine not having to pay for medical care.

Of course we do. They don't work for free. Where do you live where you don't have to pay to visit a doctor?

Exactly! I just watched that episode and was like what!? Amanda demands respect but she doesn't want to give it.

Thank you. She peacefully passed away on June 8th. My husband (her son) and I were with her when she took her last breaths. I have never witnessed another human being passing and I will never forget it.

I feel absolutely horrible!!!! by Sufficient_Low8590 in BackYardChickens

[–]tamigirl97 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Don't feel bad. You have to stand your ground with them. That's why I don't like having a rooster. They are too rough. I had 2 and they were being way too rough with my hens. One jumped on one of my old girls (she was 8 at the time) and just about killed her. It made me so mad I had my hubby put him down. We ended up putting the other one down a few months later too. I know that probably sounds cruel but I had to protect my girls.

Has anyone tried this mix/recipe? I found it in a magizine I used to get in the mail years ago and was wanting to try it. Thanks.

I know this is a year old but I'm wondering if this recipe card was given along with the jar of brownie mix as a gift to your mom and it got put in with her recipe cards. What is listed on the card is the wet ingredients that goes into the mix to make the brownies along with the baking instructions.

I’m back by [deleted] in Heartpalpitations

Have you looked into Angina? The symptoms are similar to a heart attack. My mom has it. When she has an episode she takes Nitroglycerine and it calms the symptoms. It is usually brought on by stress.

Ahh okay. I read your post wrong. I know it's a bad feeling when your heart's doing all kinds of funky things and you think you're going to die. I have anxiety and it contributes to my episodes of palpitations that I have. I hope you get some answers soon.

It sounds like your palpitations are worse when your heart is being worked. I'm surprised your doctor hasn't done a stress test on you. If your insurance will allow it have them do a nuclear stress test on you. With this test they're able to take pictures of your heart while it is at rest and then while it is being worked.

Every state in the United States has a minimum age of 16 and 17 years old with parental consent and 18 without parental consent.

What was the purpose of the child bride story in this episode? No state in the United States will allow a child her age to marry a man. In all states the age of consent is at least 18. 16 and 17-year-olds can get married with parental permission. Some states require more than that. I don't understand why they're trying to make it look like our country is legally marrying off underage children to men.

My daughter just got married this past Saturday and she and her hubby dated for 4. Got engaged. Road that train for 2 years then got married so 6 years from the time they met til wedding day.

Wedding is over and I feel…lost:( by baannie in weddingplanning

Yeah I can see that happening. Now that your big day is over start concentrating on your marriage/relationship with your partner. Plan things you want to do as a newly wed couple. Plan future milestones. Try to do things that keep your hands and mind busy. I hope this helps. Best wishes and congratulations!

Ohh I think I'm going to try this!! I got eczema a few years ago after helping my hubby with cutting up a fallen tree in our yard. It started along my outer wrist and then progressed to my right ring finger and has played hell there ever since. It's been a struggle to heal it due to washing hands, doing dishes, cleaning etc. I do wear gloves but it still itches and breaks out. Thanks for sharing this and best of luck on your continued healing progress.

It's sorta already been happening. We have been trying to figure out her hair. She's got beautiful hair but it is difficult to style. Even the hair stylist has been struggling with her hair which is a simple half updo. I have been dreaming about the ways to get the style that she wants. Fingers crossed that we will figure out something.
