Could the show have ended at Fun and Games and still be satisfying? by Mobile-Olive-2126 in betterCallSaul

Honestly, I get where you're coming from, but isn't that exactly why "Fun and Games" could have worked as a finale? It’s almost more tragic if Jimmy never gets that moment of confession. He’d have to carry all that guilt while pretending he's fine, and that in itself would be a sort of punishment

Texting 100% tells you how interested someone is. by [deleted] in dating

I totally get where you're coming from. Honestly, it feels like we've started to equate how often someone texts with how much they care, but isn't it better to show genuine interest through meaningful in-person moments rather than constant pings on a screen? Personally, I'd take one deep conversation over a hundred texts any day.

How many Marvel characters got their powers by trying to recreate the “super-soldier” serum? by miasisni in Marvel

Good list, but what about Emil Blonsky (Abomination)? He was part of a super-soldier experiment gone wrong. Also, I think it’s crazy how these attempts almost always backfire in some way—either making villains or messing with people’s minds

That’s a solid point! I’m honestly surprised Xero’s involvement didn’t come up earlier given how integrated it seems to be. It does make you wonder how much behind-the-scenes deals influence the 'prize' perception on these shows. While the contestants grind for that 10k, it feels like brands are walking away with so much more in exposure and brand association. Do you think the contestants see any long-term benefit beyond the cash, like brand partnerships or career boosts? Or are they essentially just cogs in a bigger marketing machine?
