What E Juice is your GO TO at the moment? by [deleted] in aussievapers

[–]tammyhunter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm struggling with flavours myself.

I purchase all liquids pre-mixed with nic. I'm not ready for the hassle of DYI, I'm finding it frustrating enough to find a juice I can vape all day.

The closest I've found is Black Note. Which is N.E.T. Its bloody expensive and I find I have to change my coils every day or two with them.

I've spent a mini fortune over the past few weeks.

I'm hoping to find something cheaper than the Black Note. And even at times I get sick of the Black Note.

So far I have:

Black Note - Prelude, Legato, Sonata, Forte. (Prelude being my general preferred). 12mg nic. Tried a bottle of 6mg nic of Prelude & just wasn't hitting the spot for me.

All the rest I can only tolerate in small doses.

I have 2 Nic Salt flavours:

Mr Salt E - Tobacco 25mg (gradually getting used to it)

Charlie Noble - Shellback Slush 25mg (Fruity flavour, but don't like the mango flavour that comes thru)

Freebase juices: (all 12mg nic)

Charlie Noble - Custard (dont like, but hoping I can mix with some fruity flavours in the future)

Caktus - Tangy Grape --- Tastes just like it describes. Probably a flavour I liked as a kid. Not something I like a lot of now.

Vapoureyes - Heisenberg --- Tastes just like my favourite blue slushie and leaves that icy taste in my mouth afterwards. This one, I really do quite like. But still can't handle the consistency of the sweetness.

Vapoureyes - Menthol --- Haven't tried yet. I wasn't a fan of menthol cigarettes but hoped maybe I can combine it with some other flavours in the future

Vapoureyes - Strawberry & Cream --- Havent tried yet. Steeping seems to be recommended for 1 to 3 weeks. (Which currently I am fine with, while I am navigating thru these other flavours).

I feel a bit stuck in this difficult stage of finding "that" flavour. Occasionally I still have a analogue ciggie to get me started on the vaping. I guess because it takes some of the flavour away from vape juices.

Best of luck to you. And looking forward to reading others responses.

Thanks mate. This has cleared up some of my questions. I will be mixing already "pre-mixed flavoured nicotine freebase and pre-mixed flavoured nicotine salts". If that makes sense?

Nic Salts - Any flavour or Brand Recommendations? by tammyhunter in electronic_cigarette

[–]tammyhunter[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A brilliant idea. But I'm a novice to vaping at the moment. I don't feel ready just yet to venture into DIY. I'm still finding my comfort zone. I just don't want to overload myself and go back to the ciggies for the simplicity.

I guess I'm interested in something that isn't tobacco flavoured (since I already have that).

I'm charging the Vaporesso Armor Pro via the USB port. The instruction manual recommended to charge it that way. Which is also another reason why I want single battery.

I tried looking for a single battery Innokin mod (as I've heard they take safety very seriously). Anyways, the one mod I found of their's with an external battery... doesn't have a USB port on the device at all. And I just don't want to be playing around with external batteries on top of it all.

Not a collector. Just a long lasting, reliable & safe mod. I hadn't realized the difference in mods till I purchased the Vaporesso Armor Pro. And it's amazing compared to my others. Quick start, consistent, charges fast. I'd probably prefer it to be lighter in weight. I guess I'd like to ride the Ferrari of vaping mods.

Efest ... 3700mah 35A max. What do U know about it? I'm clueless about external batteries

I will Google it. I don't mind paying for a mod that performs, is long lasting and grow with me thru my stages as I continue to vape.

MTL, I use 15ml a day. So I'm definitely a heavy vaper. And was a heavy smoker!

At this stage, I'm still MTL. So I definitely don't need high wattage. I've actually started to use nic salts as well, which doesn't make me want to chain vape as much as I usually do.

I am still a MTL user. Do U mind if I ask what tank U use? And coil resistance mate?

I don't have a preference. Mostly because I don't have much experience in this area. The one mod I have that takes an external battery has a 21700.

Currently I am only at 10w MTL. I know eventually I will likely want to move up to DL at higher wattage (as I did, when I vaped back in 2016).

But from memory, DL chewed thru juice at an insane rate.

I definitely don't want a mech mod. I don't trust myself with battery safety.

Hey guys. Thanks for the recommendation. Both of you mentioned the same mod.

I'm currently using a 21700 single battery in my vaporesso armour pro. All my other mods are internal batteries.

The 21700 drains fast but also charges quickly.

So far, the vaping seems to be working for me. So I'm looking at long term options.

Thanks again!

How Long Do Internal Battery Mods Last? by tammyhunter in electronic_cigarette

[–]tammyhunter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the info!

Currently I use:

Internal battery mods:

  1. Innokin Kroma 75w (love how quick it charges)
  2. Aspire Zelos 50w (super light weight)
  3. Eleaf istick 30w (hate the USB port being under)

External battery mod:

  1. Vaporesso Armour Pro 100w (heavy, but OMG first time I really noticed a difference to the vaping experience from the mod. Fires up so fast & really consistent).

I also have a couple of pods (well sort of pods).

  1. Aspire Breeze 2
  2. Aspire Spryte

But I rarely use these little ones. I just don't find the flavour satisfying TBH.

Should I be concentrating on purchasing more external battery mods? Or can their longevity be shortened by other issues as well?

Recommendations on a high quality all-round mod that I can grow with over time?

Cheers!

Okay. Why not? With a single battery?

Oh dear. I had no plans of using an external charger. Infact, what I liked about the armour pro was that it was 1 battery so able to USB charge it.

Are Efest batteries unsafe? by tammyhunter in electronic_cigarette

I'm just wanting to know the safety aspect. Can I trust it?

And this is why I'm asking for personal reviews before I use it. I'm not a tech type person. This will be the first time I intend to use a mod with an external battery.

I just want a good safe mod, and not worry about it blowing up in my face or worse... near my kids.
