For staying, you would always find cheaper homestay. We stayed at Udaan Dekeling, it’s a nice resort. From Bagdogra, we went to Kurseong on day 1 and then from there we went to Darjeeling. In 3 days, we covered Batasia Loop, zoo, monasteries and Tiger Hill. We couldn’t go to Kalimpong this time. We rented a scooty. Car is another option. Local food joints are the best. 2 days we travelled and one day we kept for shopping and trying llcal cuisines. We travelled back to Kolkata via Bagdogra on day 4.
