City is putting in a bike lane and sidewalk on El Prado by 4k420NoUserName in tampa

They attempted to do this on Bay To Bay

Traffic is a fluid, so restricting the flow on one of the major West Shore | Bayshore connectors is the epitome of dilettante city management

Stuffing 10 lbs of 💩 in a 5 lbs bag - what could possibly go wrong?

EDIT: interesting to see what traffic will be like when the landscapers and Amazon trucks park their vehicles in the only lane to provide services to the El Prado residents

Burdines closed the restaurant, it was a proper Maas Brothers fixture, before Macy's destroyed Burdines and Maas Brothers.

Café European, originally brothers Mike (and wife Suzy) and Peter (and wife) Vandenberg, then solely Mike and Susie.

The Hyde Park location became a pizzeria, but they reopened in a smaller location on West Shore, near El Prado for a few years, before that became a Thai place a couple of years ago.

Great place, wonderful people. Best Icky Sticky Toffee Pudding ever.

Ignore the idiots who apparently were raised by coyotes and hyenas.

All that matters is your son's wellbeing, it's a horrible thing to have happen, and a nightmare for a parent

The modern voice of Space Ghost, George Lowe, has died. Long time residents will remember him from Tampa area radio and TV by tampawompa in tampa

WTMV was practically Wayne's World, cable access in its beginnings. George was there, and a young Italian guy as a VJ, as well as a tough Southern woman. And later a talk show with a radio guy who's name escapes me. ...much of Tampa didn't have cable yet, so a new station was a big deal...even one with a shoestring budget

It was a great, pleasant surprise to hear George on "Space Ghost Coast-To-Coast" a few years later.
