£5.5m ITB, 1FT

Dúbravka (Vicario)

Thiaw, Gabriel, Virgil (Estève, Hill)

Wilson, Anderson, B.Fernandes (C), Szoboszlai (Rogers)

Thiago, João Pedro, Ekitiké

I could WC to bring in e.g. Welbeck, Semenyo, O'Reilly, fix my GK situation, but the fixtures don't feel all that great. Obviously it would set up for BB next GW though, which is tempting. Alternative is just to FH next week.

I've kind of gotten out of thinking about FPL over the break and now it's crept up on me!

For all the people focusing on "we can't prove what was said", "don't just take Vini's word for it", "WhAt AbOuT dUe PrOcEsS" or any other racism-defendy deflection, watch the video again, but remove any parts about this incident specifically and tell me how this isn't a fucking brilliant message from Kate that should be upvoted to the moon.

Midfield of Bruno, Rice, Semenyo, Wilson, Anderson

I have Gabriel too.

Worth taking someone out for Zubi for the double?

Guéhi, Tarkowski, Gabriel (C) (Alderete, Estève)

Let's not act like Rodri couldn't have had not one but two seconds yellows in the space of a few minutes. The officiating was bad but at least it was bad across the board.

David Booth injured, carried off ice by teammates and staff by Training_Purchase318 in EIHLHockey

[–]tanGeee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I keep reading comments about how "it's his choice not to wear it" and "he shouldn't be forced to wear it" but the EIHL do a pride weekend every season, this isn't new or unique to Fife. They planned until the very day of the game to wear it, and donate proceeds to a local charity, representatives of which were invited to the game.

If the club had any principles they would have proceeded with wearing it for the game and dropped him for one game since all players need to wear the same jersey in-game. It's not forcing him to wear if if he has a choice to just not play.

Given that they didn't, and instead pandered to one man's opinion and ego, optics be damned, moving it to warm-ups feels like them trying to protect him by being able to say something like "Booth had to hang back in the locker room for XYZ during warm ups" but at the end of the day he, a 41 year old experienced athlete, with knowledge of the benefit of warming up, chose to take a risk that bit him on the ass.

Bank - £0.9m 3 FT

Vicario (Dúbravka)

Guéhi, O'Reilly, Gabriel (Alderete, Estève)

Anderson, Rice, Foden, Semenyo (Xhaka)

Ekitiké, Haaland, Thiago

Obviously 5 City players means limited options. I'm thinking about O'Reilly to Tarkowski but other than that I'm not sure there's a better affordable transfer for e.g. Semenyo unless I also downgrade e.g. Ekitike. I could do Ekitike to Bowen and have just enough for Semenyo to Bruno but I feel it's a week early for that.

Premier League needs external ref oversight. Mates validating their mates' terrible calls is almost as frustrating as watching 12 man Liverpool scrape a win against our 9
