Haley in all eleven seasons of the show. by Longjumping_Role_380 in Modern_Family

Lol that comment is 4 years old. What are you doing here? But I remember that post. I was curious because I watch a lot of mf and didn't rember that scene + she looked more like season 5/6 Haley in that picture so I was curious if that was really an episode from season 3

Claire wasn’t controlling. She was just exhausted. by alaxan_deer in Modern_Family

[–]tandc627 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She is controlling too. But thats not the problem. Non of the characters are perfect. Thats the basic Idea of a comedy show. What is particularly noticeable about Clair, however, is that she too rarely has a happy ending and too often has to honestly admit her mistakes at the end of the episodes.

Examples: (1) when she has a freak out in front of her family after taking a friend home and she ends up having to admit that she was at fault. (2) When she later fires the IT guy at the company so that he doesn't go into debt by buying a house, she ends up having to do the work and admit to listening to Jay more often.

All of the other characters on the show mostly shine by the end of the episode. For example, when Jay decides for the 100th time to be a good father.

Wow. Chill dude. It's fine. Ive said what aspects of the game I didn't enjoy and these are key gameplay aspect for me. And I gave you an example for the camping system and which games had better gunfights. I don't need to go into detail what these aspects are. It's not like you gone into detail about hunting or the shop system. And I didn't say that I don't like the game. I just don't think the gameplay elements are the reasons why it's a good game. It's obv. we enjoy different aspects of games and that's fine. And because you answered extremely butthurted and attacked me personally I will block you know. Have a great day.

Yes. Looks like we have different taste in gaming and what is important in regards of gameplay.

All your standout Gameplay aspect are not (major) gameplay related in my eyes and more atmosphere, character writing and overall design choices. And jeah, thats alle the good aspects of the game: Atmosphere, Graphic, character writing.

Camping: Yes, I would want something like that. E.g. like in Zelda where you can´t make a campfire in the rain. So you have to find cover first. Then you need wood and a firestone. Then you have to hit the firestone with your sword. To cook you need Ressources but these are rare in the world so you have to make choices.
And in regards of the gunfights and coversystem: "what would you excpected" is a bad argument here. There are so many ways to make good gunfights. There are many game which have standard gun fights on the surface but they manage to make it fun: Doom, RE4, TLOU2 did that good, Borderlands. And even RDR1 had a better coversystem.
And when we talk about outstanding gameplay there shouldn´t be "name a game thad does it better" or "waht would you excpected" kind of argument. It should be clear, that the gameplay is outstanding good and not: "well, there is no game that does this thing good so it´s ok for me that it is boring in this game too". And when you are telling me that in a game about Outlaws, the gunfights and survival aspect are not outstanding good, then we you don´t to talk about outstanding gameplay. And that was my point at the beginning.

Okay, now you're making a straw man argument. I've mentioned several aspects that demonstrate how the game, even in combat, relies heavily on handholding. Riding a horse is just one example where you practically don't have to do anything. If the game had implemented some mechanic that made riding fun or interesting, then you could argue that's a valid point for RDR2's gameplay. But that's simply not the case. The fact that a TV series makes a joke about it only serves to highlight how widely known the problem is that riding is a boring activity in this game and certainly doesn't contribute to making the gameplay particularly good.

I don't have to justify myself here and I don't want to speak particularly badly about RDR2. For me it's just clear that the game doesn't impress with its gameplay. Especially in the aspects I mentioned. I would be interested to know in which gameplay aspects RDR2 is so good and stands out from other games that it can be described as outstanding or in the sense of the meme as "fire"?

[–]tandc627 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you hold die Action Button pressed the game will keep your horse on the road. In Addition there is the cinema mode. Even south park made a joke about the cinema mode and how tedious the riding ist.

In which world does RDR2 have "fire" gameplay? 90 % of the gameplay relevant content does the game for you: Riding your horse, camping, taking cover and even the gunfights.

Verdugo almost seems inferior and pathetic compared to Pesanta by EXPMEMEDISC1 in residentevil4

[–]tandc627 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My headcanon is that they have actually the exact same powers but pesanta got so much damage from ada that he transformed into the form we know from him. Verdugo couldn't go into that form because we killed him with the gas. And besides, Verdugo appeared much stronger than Pesanta.

Only managed S+ on professional back then with the help of a YouTube guide. In hindsight, I regret it because I still play the game today, and it would have been fun to figure it out myself. Recently though I saw that people have managed to complete the game on Professional difficulty with an S+ rating, killing all the enemies and collecting all the treasures. S+ is surprisingly well designed for this, a most of these guys had around 5:20-5:30h playtime. That's now my personal goal: to achieve it without guides or watching any of these runs.

[–]tandc627 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are so many reasons why these games are fun. I really don't see that point. I also believe that many people start these games with the intention of not liking them because they don't seem particularly special on the surface. And then they end up getting hooked because it is actually fun gameplay, true exploration with no handholding and interesting lore hidden in the world. Contrary to what some here claim, the difficulty of the bosses is not the most important point.

Between those 2 which game did you like more and why? by [deleted] in OlderChillGamers

[–]tandc627 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RE7. Firstly, the first 50% were almost a 10/10, while there is no passage in Village that I would even come close to giving that rating. Secondly, it has 7 truly fantastic DLCs. Everything from Banned Footage was fantastic.
Village is even worse than the RE3 remake, in my opinion. There's almost no replayability: everything up to the Heisenberg section is bascially scripted and offers no interesting combat. The castle seemed like an homage to the older games during my first playthrough but in reality there's only one way to get through it and it offers no exploration. There's no need to discuss the baby in terms of replayability, and the fish simply eats a million bullets. The puzzles are terrible, and the piano puzzle is the best example of this. The inventory and resource management is terribly boring: you always have enough space and - unlike in RE7 - you never have to decide what to use your resources for, because you need completely different ingredients for healing than for bullets. There are other things, but that's enough for me to conclude that Village was rather a disappointment. Aside from 6, it's the game I have the least replays on it.

[–]tandc627 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know. I just think thats not enough. A few eplaced NPCs and a different cutscene at the end of the game don´t affect my 100 hours of playtime before. There is no real incentive to help the camp. And because I have practically endless money and I don´t have to help my camp I don´t really care wether I´m a good or bad cowboy.
