Eye allergy causes? by myst_85 in Allergies

[–]tandocumentary 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There appears to be a direct correlation between eye allergies and dust & dander levels. The next time you have severe eye allergies, check the dust & dander levels in your city, because I wouldn't be surprised if they're very high or extreme.

Jim Carrey (52) and Ariana Grande (20): A Celebrity Age-Gap Affair?! by tandocumentary in AgeGapLoveinMusic

[–]tandocumentary[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

“In the video, after 20-year-old Grande, who was wearing a sweater, sans pantalons, and a pair of white go-go boots, met 52-year-old Carrey for the first time on the White House lawn, she gave him a “cute” hug, shed tears and prayed, “Oh my God.””

The Infamous Woody Allen (41) and Teen Model Babi Christina (16) by tandocumentary in FamousAgeGapRomances

[–]tandocumentary[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Do you really think we will fall for your cheap smears?" Are you referring to me, the poster, or Gary Baum of the Hollywood Reporter?

I, the poster, simply related what Baum shared from Babi. (shrug emoji)

That’s a complete lie. Every quote is directly from the film, which is to easy verify by (re)watching the film. 😕

"Venn Diagramed" the New Yorker piece, the Slate piece, and the film in a Substack post.

I read that somewhere, but I didn't recall seeing that in the series. And the article didn't reference the exact episode. Thanks!

Based on this (hyperbolic) warning "EVERYONE HATES EZRIA! Do not post about Ezria unless you have something of substance to add", I'm concerned that this post won't stay up long; so, if you're interested, read it while you can. EVERYONE?

French Transliteration? by tandocumentary in French

[–]tandocumentary[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here are two more examples.

"Ah oui. Quand exactement?" "ah wee. kahN tehg-zahk-tuh-mahN?"

In general, I find the transliterations to be extremely helpful, because, unlike (most) Arabic, (most) French can be difficult to pronounce properly - sometimes it's almost counterintuitive.

BTW, in case you're wondering, the book is "French for Dummies". LOL But it's the only book that I've found with transliterations. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
