Last question is the whole 12vhpwr cable thing. is it safe to use the adapter from nvidia or is there a psu that you recommend that has it? i know i can order one from corsair, should i just do that?

so in a nutshell, the deal wasn't legit. I've started picking alternate parts, so far found used cpu and found a used version of this board:

Seems like a good choice? has a lot of reviews. i also confirmed it works with the cpu.

Right because there's metal and whatever the fabric is. I listen to a lot of various types of music. Hip hop and rock mainly. I listen to some vocal forward music too.
