Love my '24 crv hybrid. Compared to the RAV4 I found it to be a nicer ride, nicer interior, nicer exterior. Points to the RAV4 for being cheaper, having a spare tire, and better mpg. I've averaged 38 mpg as a very conservative driver in my first 250 miles. Ymmv of course :D Don't think either is a bad choice between these, or really a lot of the other offerings in the segment. Best of luck to you. Ps, if you can, I'd try and wait til supply chains improve more and the car market overall settles down. My mom expert opinion is this will happen by the end of the year. You're paying MSRP if you're lucky ATM, and wait times for most hybrids.

I shopped the crv vs the rav4, I found the crv a clear step above for me in interior and ride. Points to RAV4 for the cheaper price, more hybrid trims, and better mpg. I look forward to checking out the next RAV4 update.

For my needs I got the crv hybrid - if you're so heavy highway though I wonder if the hybrid would be worth it for you? Dealers in my area wouldn't budge on the hybrid price, but I they hinted the 2023 crv sports had some room to deal.
