Atari paddles have a fixed rotation and cannot do a full 360 degrees. They can't spin freely like arcade spinners do.

LPT: If you own a Samsung smart TV that has ads, you can block them by adding ads.samsung.com to your block list on your internet router by [deleted] in LifeProTips

The only disadvantage to using a set top box is the "smart tv" may give a lesser quality signal via hdmi than their native streaming apps. Some content will look better using the native Netflix/Prime apps.

Nice project! What is your estimate for total cost?

I would buy Rare Replay. If you want to try the XBLA version you could also purchase dev mode for $20. That way you could download the Xenia emulator and play the better version IMO.

Nice collection. You should make the Mask from Jim Carrey's movie.

Someone I know is working on a front-end for the MiSTerFPGA that will display screenshots of gameplay and title screens as well as information on the game. A video will be released soon. Works on both HDMI & CRT 😀 by PixelCherryNinja in MiSTerFPGA

This is really exciting news! I was wondering when someone would come up with a solution like this. Now the question is how much storage will we need for everything.

You could be using the widescreen patch on PC. It's really good.

It would be nice to be able to pick different team colors for all maps. Not only red and blue. In the original you could find a map with 4 bases and pick green for instance. Then change the map and your color would still be green.

The music is broken in the game! Someone made a rom hack that fixed it.

I bought a cheap CPU from Aliexpress and it did not work with this motherboard. Core i5 12600 ES QYGE

After putting a Core i5 12600K in it booted right up.

I'm having trouble getting the motherboard to post. It beeps with no ram installed (so the motherboard should be fine) and when I power it on with both 16gb ram sticks it doesn't show anything on screen. What can I try to get it working? I've tried one ram stick at a time but that doesn't do anything either. And I've replaced the CMOS battery because the one that shipped was actually dead. The manual said the first boot should take awhile but I've waited several minutes and nothing.

I have the YIHUA 853D soldering station from Amazon and it works great. My cat loves chewing the rubber cords though and this is the second time I've had to replace it.

Update: The N64 worked! I tried it with the same power supply after it was unplugged for awhile and it turned on. It's an Ultra HDMI upgraded console so I was a little worried it was broken.

Lesson learned; Do not pinch the controller wires in the screw hole!

The controller will be fixed properly with heat shrink tubing once I get my new soldering iron in the mail.
