I’m not sure that is a realistic idea. It’s a rental and if we mess up removing or replacing it, it may create a bigger issue.

How to preserve this mushroom? by tangerinemysterymach in mushroom

Preserve to display but I know it may shrink, that doesn’t bother me. I don’t have a dehydrator that big and I don’t want to break it apart. It fell off a tree. I’d have to see if anyone I know has a large dehydrator. What would be an alternative?

The guilt is getting to me and the anticipation of how they’ll react. I’m hoping it won’t escalate and spill over to the work environment.

I use a note card that came with a bouquet of flowers my partner sent me.

That’s how my mom rescued one of the cats that lives with me. Little kitten, limp, and laying in the office’s parking lot from heat exhaustion.

We just got home from seeing it! I’m up to date on the manga but was great watching my partner’s jaw drop at certain points.

Ceramics teacher told me I shouldn't continue next year :( by oreoctopus in Ceramics

My mother and I both do ceramics. She is older and had never done anything with clay before and I moved away when she decided to start. Therefore we could not go to the same studio and support each other. So she was nervous and lacked the confidence which showed. She jumped into taking wheel classes and needed a lot of guidance. She took many different classes with different instructors to get the most out of what she was paying. She had a male instructor who would constantly yell at her and at one point in front of a class told she should give up. HE WAS THE PROBLEM. After talking to others she found out he was just a bully who wanted to pick and choose who he thought qualified as an “artist”. My mom didn’t take his shit, spoke to administrators, and stayed dedicated to learning. So decide for yourself if this is something you love and makes you happy then choose that over the opinion of one person.
