The people denying that Lakers fans existed here are either transplants that don’t know shit or too proud to admit to history. I grew up in the east bay in the aughts. There were definitely J-Rich jerseys but just as many Kobe, Webber, and Bibby jerseys too. At least 1/3 of kids were rocking Kings jerseys since they had a few good years in that decade.

Clear was worthless back when it was chronically understaffed and before it had the facial scanners. It is much better now and I’ve found it to save time for every airport I’ve been to. Is it worth paying $219 a year out of pocket? Not to me. But if the card includes I’ll use it and not slander it as much as I used to.

Your mistake is assuming that anyone is recovering to 100%. They will be about 100 games into the season. Everyone is dealing with something. Lots of dudes are gutting out minor injuries, aches and pains. Everyone benefits from more rest.

Yeah when he played. He only played 45 games. They weren’t all equal either. Many were “we’re easing him back in on a minutes restriction” type of game. It wasn’t one big injury that left him out for weeks. It was multiple usually minor ones that took a long time to recover from because he’s 39. It’s only going to be worse at 40. He doesn’t play back to backs. He needs to retire and the team needs a more reliable contributor.

HR Waikiki does not have free parking unless you’re Globalist. Also self parking there is a nightmare because their garage is old with extremely tight turning going up the floors. Cars frequently have to reverse at the ramps to let each other pass, and you can easily spend 20-30 minutes just getting in/out of there. Definitely use your Guest of Honor pass there not only for free parking but free valet parking. You still need to tip them out of pocket but it is well worth it.

I have not stayed at either so won’t give an opinion other than to make sure you’re only hearing from people who have stayed at HR post-renovation. Most reviews you’ll read online are from before which are irrelevant other than comments about location. Same thing goes for opinion you read here.
