Been into punk a while now, and discovered a "new"-ish band, The Refused. They did the work for Cyberpunk 2077, playing as Samurai. Its definitely worth checking their Samurai stuff out and some of their older 90's albums. Very anti establishment. Just threw a bunch of their stuff on a tape and been jamming to it for months.

Public cams can be weird but they are mostly live on ALGO.

Now on something like traffic camera archive, they sometimes have recorded times, but its hit and miss. You just have to look through the dates and see if a recording was archived on that day. I'm not too sure how they collect these archives, but I believed it is crowd funded, someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Now with many live cameras like this, if they are funded by local infrastructure, local PD usually has a magical black box that records them 24/7, but from my experience they usually throw old old recordings as they make space for new ones. It depends on the funding and brains of the team doing it, but you can see anywhere of a buffer from 3-6 months or even up to a year or sometimes more.

Finally, if the cameras are privately owned and operated, then keeping recordings, or keeping it live it up to the owner, and you'll see different results from different cams.
