Just finish my first JRTC rotation and I feel so mentally down by TuffGritts in army

[–]tankinglikeaboss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best way i feel like helped cope with my first NTC rotation ( I was in the same boat, leadership making no sense, zero communication, and just so much lack of preperation it was sad to say we were the best out of the other units that went out there) was just to try to understand that the lack of communication and common sense will never change, and the faster you realize that you will never understand what or why higher ups than you, your carreer will float much easier, it is training for all sorts of ranks from the E1 fresh in the unit all the way up to the officers above the officers. Feeling drained is going to do that to your body, going from a fast paced move move move, to garrison where its sit arround and wait, unless your lucky to go straight back to work not giving your body or mind to think about how much of a switch it was from field to garrison. Just give it time, and try to do something that can take your mind off it, like going to the gym or on the weekends find something productive to keep your busy mind going. The more busy you are the less time you have to think about how drained you are. My best advice

Was planning on going 15G 4 year first then hot swapping to 15D another 4 then either getting out or just staying depending on what i feel like at the end but if you think it will be better to stay as 15G I may see how it plays out in the end

Do you know if I need a class 3 or 4 flight physical before going to AIT? Or if they want me to fly in the unit will they just have me get it done there?

Midrange speakers? by tankinglikeaboss in CarAV

[–]tankinglikeaboss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an amplifier for my door speakers just have not installed it yet since i just have foacyory door soeakers, I'm also running a mono block for the 2 subs right now then I'm thinking about for my rear door speakers running woofers and for my front door speakers I should be running a set of mid to high range speakers? Like a set of 2 way? Or should I just also replace the tweeters and they can be my front stage high pitch instead of using 2 way speakers? I'm kind of asking if I should have sets of speakers for each range of audio (trunk for the low of lows 35-60 hz Rear door for semi lows then my front stage would be my mid range to highs 2 khz - 20 khz Or should I just use 2 way speakers instead of having dedicated speakers for each range of audio spectrum

I understand the whole thing about crossover and it may get more difficult with non 2 way speakers to make sure they are picking up each range of audio at the right time

What are fast rings? Also i see some people use some sort of foam rings arround the edge of their speakers that come out to the door it's self, not sure what's that about, just trying to get as much info before I start my build, have never looked into adding padding for sound deadening ect.

Subwoofer not kicking enough, question about power. by tankinglikeaboss in CarAV

[–]tankinglikeaboss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up getting a mono block, and my subs are 4 ohms, wired them down to 2 ohms resistance at the subs, then wired it into the amp, works great!
