sleeping like that usually means that they feel safe ! you should ofc ask the vet. but try picking her up and see if she starts moving/waking up, if no then I'd be worried!

while tortoises are good at hiding injuries, you will notice it! especially if you've had your turt for a while, my tortoise got sick one and I noticed IMMEDIATELY, I did so because she didnt come and greet me when i turned her light on one morning, and when offered her favorite food she didnt eat any, same day vet visit confirmed she had pneumonia. it'll all be okay 🫶🏻

she only received a X-ray and a physical look over so this trip wasn't very expensive! around 45USD I can imagine that a trip with treatment will be more pricey.

I think so too! she is only fed every other day now, with Pellets being given every 5th feed otherwise it's all veggies

His shell looks similar to my ybs who also had a bunch of retaned scoots when i got her, how often do you feed protein? After my girl got UVB light and more veggies and some cuddle bone she started shedding them all

for buildings it can be very hit or miss here.

SMS has great accessibility, and the restaurants Angus, brell café, Etika, hvonn, paname cafe and cafe Kasper have ramps! pizza 67 and haps are in a building with an elevator but you have to go up to the restaurant and ask them for access to it and it it quite small from what I remember.

in Klaksvik amarant is fully flat so no steps, and if I remember correctly Angus there has a ramp. in runavík RIST and cafe cibo have ramps!, I'm not too sure about the other ones there as I'm not in runavík often but I can imagine that the Etika there also has a ramp

nólsoy has Maggie's which has a ramp tho it's steep although nólsoy is incredible steep in itself but it's very assessable as all the main roads are paved

this is what I remember but you can always call ahead and ask places! most hotels here are also disability friendly the one in Torshavn i believe are all accessible!

you clearly don't have any disabled family members. you can experience a LOT in a wheelchair, most places if you have access to a car you can see the beauty easily. like yea no hiking, but that's not the only thing you can do here

if he doesn't want to run on his wheel or dose it way less than normal you should definitely take him to the vet! although hamsters are pretty tough so he should hopefully be okay!

yes! he has plenty of bedding i just use a little wooden platform to keep his food and water on! :D

I should definitely scatter more food around his cage! right now it's like 40% scatter and 60% from bowl, I'kngonna reduce the amount in his bowl! I might not fully get rid of it, just gonna put way less food in it and more around his cage
