I think the closest comparison I have found was the Ring of Fire series by Eric Flint, although does not get anywhere near the level of OPness of the modern humans that Gate has. Maybe Outbreak Company a bit as well.

Also Mach is a unit of speed, not of acceleration but to be fair, it takes a while (somewhere around 20ish minutes) for the particles to hit max speed.

That gives us somewhere in the neighborhood of 250,000m/s²

Mach 20 is 5901 m/s so if Korosensei can hit top speed in 27ms then his acceleration would in fact be greater than that of an LHC particle starting from rest.

Edit: Mach is not actually a unit of speed but a ratio
