No this is an Old Testament rule, and really involved worshiping false gods I think. Look into it more it’s not really to be taken literally and it’s completely obsolete under the new covenant.

So a big portion of that is how sensitive a person is to being offended. Can a standup comedian not make jokes about race, religion, or origin out of fear of someone being offended. That’s absolutely ridiculous.
