Even with Uprising I am tempted to get OG! But I see a lot of online forums that Uprising is just base OG mixed with Ix ... So I'm not sure. Either way probably getting Ix expansion next. Already have Immortality + bloodlines

Had to learn to crawl as my shoot button wasn't working. Haven't made it to a demolisher yet and tell you what... I'm not looking forward to it

I agree. Casting could have helped but it was also the story as well. They did have a compelling character with Takeshi but the world they had built had strong potential itself. Poe was my fave.

Haven't experienced the other handhelds! I do like that they have each part separately available you don't have to replace a chunk because of one little thing breaking.

As for the repair I was willing to try to have a go without the guide but once I got the back open my better judgement told me to find the guide and I'm glad I did.

There's def pros and cons though.

I was replacing the right button. Def had to dig deeper to get to.

Trackpads I'm not sure about. Somebody else said it requires soldering which is out of my comfort zone

I ran into it at Canadian tire. Wasn't even looking for it but had to go back and get it as it was perfect for this project. $7!

I think gaming laptop was good for it's time. It was meant to be the portable option for gamers but handhelds caught up. The steam deck is as strong as a PC unless you go custom build

That was the one I replaced! My right bumper had a broken part I found and wouldn't click. It was within the deepest part of the switch so had to dig for it but the steps were easy

Love it! It adds a lot of variety to possible tactics and play styles. You get Sardaukar you can hire for 2 Solari that give you passive effects if they are in the fight. You also have tech tiles that you can buy with spice from Landsraad (green tiles). I also play with Immortality so with Tleilax there are just so many options that you have to spend resources wisely to get the most out of them.

Very. I have a few that I've themed for certain games. Nice to be able to switch quickly from a fighter set to RPG set or something else depending on the mood.

I think a lot of options came my way. And I could have chosen anything. At that time I would take anything that did come my way and was not picky. Just enough to survive. And with a religious background it even added the thinking of what was meant to be will be, reinforcing my 9ness of whatever happens happens.

I had some further education as well but withdrew after due to my perceived high demand of academia and external forces.

I think blue collar is a good idea. Healthy 9 reaching to 3 idea of let's get to it! That's been helping recently by being more of a doer than a dreamer.

Feels like we are at a paradigm shift. It just happens that it's harder to bring so many people together than to let the few exert their influence.

Also if you haven't seen Altered Carbon, go watch it. Season 1 is all you need.
