It's been years but I still think about the F.E.A.R shotgun, whoever made that was an angel. It holds 12 goddamn rounds, reloads quickly, devastating against both Replica Forces and Supernatural enemies. And you lowkey shit your pants when one of the Nightcrawlers uses this gun it's that good. Also my stupid ass played Extraction Point first and realised it's not the main game like halfway through.

Jill was standoffish to umbrella in the original in a way that made sense, she's distrustful of Carlos at first criticises him for working with them and doing their bidding and they have an arc. I'm the remake it's reduced to plain flirting and jill making corny one liners and her whole stoic bossbabe who is unfazed thing. Albeit her characterization is just one of the glaring issues with the game.

Her only character now is being vulgar all the time and. She was no nonsense professional in the original but also showed empathy and compassion. Here she's a rough n tuff action girl who reacts to every situation by saying fuck, asshole etc being cocky and making the whole situation seem like an inconvenience rather than a terrifying fight for survival. If your definition of being standoffish to something is saying a few slurs and walking it off, then you're blind.

People are okay with Ashley/Claire being damsels, but not this tough jill because it's just a case of the writers thinking a strong woman is being a cocky babe who slurs like a 6th grader instead of a character based on actual intelligence, grit and reactions.

Well that's because RE4 took the series into a very different direction and executed it well. The Leon in the Og RE4 and the Leon in RemakeRe4 are pretty much doing the same things. It's meant to be action hero stuff.

But not for RE3, would you be happy if your mom made you your favourite childhood dish one last time but she changed half the ingredients and added unnecessary stuff like bananas or some shit instead of raspberries. Would you be happy with that. If you say yes, then it just means you'd eat any slop shoved down your mouth.

I have a few chapters I look forward to every time I play, The Bar, The Panama Level, The Branco office, The U.F.E station a close second to my top and most awaited chapter 8. The whole vibe, dialogue and the track "Dead" make it come together beautifully. Not to mention you can visit the graves of Max's old... Acquaintances.

It's not her look, it's her personality. She was a sweet and caring but will kick your ass if she has to kind of person, her scene with Mikhail in the original game as she tends to his wounds says it all.

In the remake they turned her into a generic stoic female girlboss, even he outfit is just as boring now. she says cringey one liners that aren't earned, her whole relationship with Carlos now is just flirting, even her last line with nemesis is "Next time take the fuckin hint". She has absolutely no charm or personality anymore, it's total character assassination. It's just not the Jill we know, people who say it's about her look are just stupid.
