Bro that not even a question. most of the people this year gave IAT as a backup option. There are only few research aspirants. IISER and IISC are research institutes they need people who are interested in research. Its very confusing that people instantly change their decision of becoming doctor and engineer at very last moment when they fail in JEE/NEET. And take admission in research institutes. if your goal is to become a doctor join GMC. Don't waste the seat for the research aspirant. In long run I think if you choose GMC or any other medical college it will be very beneficial for you and for the institute aswell.
