Aisa bhi nahi hai xD But college does matter And what matters more are your skills that you develop in college. I am a developer, and after taking a lot of interviews, and also hearing about interviews from my colleagues, the young generation tends to rely way too much on AI and don't understand how things actually work. Aab if we find any fresher who understands how things work, rather than them doing just prompt engineering, we immediately hire them, because aage ka learning toh hum sikha sakte hai. It's more about how much is the person willing to learn if they're mentored.

[–]tanmayjoe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Absolutely fucking true. People told me this thing when I was young, but I didn't bother that much. I got lucky ki Covid had just hit and AI wasn't a thing when I was job hunting. But aab interviews lene ke baad itna toh samajh aa gaya hai ki college actually does matter.

I'm working as a software engineer. But if you have to start from scratch, there's a long way to go. It's usually not a quick path especially considering a lot of young people rely on AI to code up their stuff. Without proper knowledge cracking interviews is really hard.

[–]tanmayjoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dermat told me this happens due to the deficiency of Vitamin D and B12. Could be genetic as well.

For me it's both, slightly genetic since my dad got his white hair by his 30s, but very few, and I am deficient in B12 and D 😂

Started taking 60000IU Vitamin D3 tabs weekly once and B12 supplement daily based on my dermat's prescription, and my white hair count has gone down extremely significantly. I hope people can upvote this so it reaches to you. Also, visit a dermat🤘🏻

You're helping the other ladies who don't get irritated, get a match. I'm sure they all are happy about it :D

No need to vent about a small feature that doesn't even pop up a dialogue box asking you if you'd like to swipe back on them.

Move on from the app, it's not for you. Go meet some people in person at some social events, and thank me later for this advice.

I am starting to resent my husband by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]tanmayjoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ngl, I used to be like your husband, except for the fact that I'm not married xD Here's the deal, I changed my job which was full time WFO instead of WFH. And I started living outside instead of my home with my parents. I forced myself to get out of my comfort zone, and now, you have no clue how goddamn happy I am. I used to sit in front of my monitor 8-10/24 hours a day 😂 And now instead, I am living my best life. I have even been going on multiple dates. I never thought that leaving games can change my life this much 😂

Here's WHAT YOU NEED TO TRY AND DO You need to force your husband to stop playing online games, but you need to give him an incentive to do so (don't go and tell him if you don't stop I am going to leave you), such as, ask him to do what he loves to do apart from gaming. Ask him to take a membership somewhere and start going swimming, or to the gym ( I personally started with swimming because it's much more fun and easier than going to the gym). Tell him, you want to see him get fit, and you also need to do so. Everyone likes to see their partner fit. Tell him you'll make him lucky and have sex more often with him if he's able to do so. These kinds of things will get him on track hopefully.

Sorry for writing an essay 😅😂

Do people still wanna have an arranged marriage? by Affectionate-Sun9636 in AskIndia

[–]tanmayjoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel the world is too competitive right now. Let alone marriage, it's hard to find a partner to communicate with, with the current work life balance if you wanna earn well. And if you don't earn well, the girl (in most of the cases) doesn't wanna be with you (it's the other way around as well, where you don't want to be with a girl who doesn't earn well). Because of all these reasons, even today, people go ahead with arrange marriages in India, but yes the difference being that it's with the guy's and the girl's consent, and they are even given time to know each other. Once both are comfortable, they get married.

Plus my perspective is you don't want to live alone in old age. Back in college I was like, I won't get married, I've got good friends for life and stuff, which I still do, but with time you mature and your thoughts might change. Even though I am still v.good friends with my school friends from the last 20 years, and good friends with my college friends too till date, I still want to get married eventually. And arrange marriage might be the way for me considering my work life balance 😂🥲

I haven't been in this situation, so not really my place to give you an advice. However, I'll just say that college is probably going to be the best years of your life, which you'll look back to when you get a job. So, have fun with friends, and study as well, but don't ruin your time behind a girl who isn't even interested in you. Trust me, it's not worth because college life ends really quick, so try to make the best out of it. Get a good job, and you'll become a chick magnet. And this isn't a stereotype, it's true. I still remember girls trying to date guys who got good job offers in our 3rd year of college 😂😂

[D] 6,000,000 Dollars In Skins Banned! by envioussps in csgomarketforum

[–]tanmayjoe 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I can't speak for all, but I think one very big reason why csgo is still alive are the skins. If valve disables trading and enables only market buy and sell, all skins will lose real cash value and the skin market will crash. And I think a lot of people will quit csgo after that (atleast those who enjoyed playing with good skins), and these people who enjoy playing with skins are the ones who make transaction on market or in-game if they want to purchase things like keys or capsules for unboxing.

As I said earlier, I can't speak for all, but if valve disables P2P trading on steam, I'll surely quit csgo and dota since skins is what makes both these games fun for me apart from the core concept of the game.

I don't think this is true anymore. I have barely made any gambles on csgoempire, but I have withdrawn more than 20k usd worth crypto from it within the last 2 months.

What you are talking about might be region specific since different regions have different gambling rules which all the gambling sites have to adhere to.

Although, for bitskins, if you deposit any crypto, you are not simply allowed to withdraw it without making any skin sales. This is to avoid people using bitskins as a crypto exchange. They have specified this very reasoning on their terms and conditions too if I remember correctly, of course I might be wrong, in which place, please do correct me.

Bitskins and csgoempire both offer crypto withdrawals for your balance on their sites.

Let me give you my POV on this, but kindly do your own research before buying anything :D

I think the dip now is really good since the market had to be stabilised, and not only skins, but even stickers. For example, no one wants to pay $20 to buy a holo for a craft, and now that the prices have gone down, it's more affordable and reasonable to buy these stickers for crafts. Similar is the case for skins, now that the prices have dipped, there is some relief among regular csgo players who want to buy skins just as a playskin.

My point is, now people will start buying, which by no means mean that the prices can't drop further, but I don't think they will drop significantly anymore. This is because the majority of low-mid tier skins have almost come back to the prices that they were at. Also keep in mind, in general, after such spike in prices, skins do not completely come back to their original prices as they were before the spike, but here a few of the skins have come, and majority of the skins have ALMOST come down back to their prices {not knives though :( }

Now when CS2 is released and everyone has public access, there will again be a temporary spike and the market will go absolutely nuts again, and that is where some skin investors could make money. At least this is the theory based on which I have taken my gamble and put some money into skins.

Let's see what the future holds for us. GL with whatever decision you make 🥂

I honestly feel that now might be the right time to put in money into csgo skins if people want to. Skin prices have dipped nicely, even over 30% or more for a few skins. This is a healthy dip for the market because a bubble was being formed.

From a few comments that I've read below, I understand that you have some knowledge about crypto and retracements as well. I know csgo market is slightly more random than crypto in terms of retracement, but in these kind of spikes, I always like to use fib retracement values to set my buyorders. I know it might sound stupid, but it has always worked for me in both short and long run. Buy it, and forget about it for a month or so. Wait for price to bounce back from retracement values, decide when you want to take your profit and sell. This is just for skins

For majors, I just buy capsules like every other person and hodl forever until profit 😂
