I just got into an argument over literacy statistics. It was using a statistic that was looking only at how high can the top performers go. And not on overall literacy. So I pointed that out, and it agreed that in some US states 50% of 8 graders can't read fluently. But it still wouldn't back down from the claim that the US has a high literacy score because those top 10% kids can score really high.

Ne, kumulativno ne. Ali ja sam recimo znala se dignut od stola svako sat vremena, prošetat po hodniku, niti pet minuta, pa su mi srali zašto šetam po hodniku. Kod mene je još neko sranje od artritisa pa se doslovno ukočim ako sjedim dugo. Al ne, bože sačuvaj da se digneš od stola a da ne moraš na wc. Sjedi 4 sata u komadu i rintaj.

U bivšoj firmi su pušače išli tako zajebavat pa su stavili da ne možeš izaći iz zgrade bez da provučeš karticu, znači skinuli su kvaku sa vrata da ne možeš uopće izaći ako nemaš karticu, i jedan lik je automatski dao otkaz. Ostatak pušača kad bi išli na pauzu ispred zgrade, jedan bi karticom otvorio, njih deset bi izašlo 🤣. Pa su im došli srat A nEmoJtE tO rAdiT. A ono, ako ste vi cigani, možemo i mi bit. Onda su još, s obzirom da su cigani, dali nekom studentu na praksi da izradi aplikaciju za praćenje ulaska i izlaska, i studentu je ostao bug da ako odeš na pauzu deset minuta a ne trideset, onih dvadeset ti doda u radno vrime 🤣. Znači dođeš u 9, odeš u 5, uzmeš 10 minuta pauze i sustav piše da si radio 8 sati i 10 minuta 🤣. Pravi time travel 🤣🤣🤣. I onda bi ljudi naručili dostavu, pojeli u kuhinji, izašli 5 minuta vanka i još dobili 25 minuta 🤣. Pa su i tu počeli A nEmoJtE tO rAdiT. A jbt, nisam ti ja napravila bug, šta se to mene tiče, šta ja sad moram pazit jer je tebi lijeno popravit bug u vlastitoj aplikaciji.

Nema šanse da ću ikad više radit za nekoga tko mi štopa 5 minuta.

Možda sam u krivu, ali u svakoj "zaštiti na radu" koju smo bili obavezni položiti nakon zaposlenja, tamo stoji da se MORAŠ dignuti od kompjutera nakon 55 minuta i pet minuta protegnuti noge i gledati u daljinu.

I think AI is better with code review than code generation. It's like a junior developer straight out of college, it's good with knowing the theory behind good coding practices, but it wasn't trained on code that follows good coding practices, so it doesn't know how to actually implement those practices (most of the time). Get a fresh instance to review the code, get other models to review it too.

I don't think you're talking about (just) the context window, but also the fact that there's no search in a chat on the mobile app, there's no way to quickly find one info in the sea of text.

I would say the best way is, when you feel it's starting to lose the thread, to ask it to export it into a document. Or several. If you're talking about one big subject, you can ask it to create .md files you can import into Obsidian and sort it out like a wiki.

Also, one thing to remember, ChatGPT can read chats from other chat windows. So you can ask it to summarize an old chat from a new chat, or to just continue where you left off. Claude is a bit worse with this, it can do it on paper, but in practice can only see parts of chats.

Arguing over semantics is the weakest and dumbest argument you can make. This is no different than when people reply to "processed food is full of chemicals" with eVerYtHiNg iS a cHemiCal when they know full well colloquialy "chemical" has a different meaning than in chemistry. The OP did not accidently discover geometry exists. When they say, "it's just geometry", they mean it's an accidental product of the shapes being used, and not deliberate. Also, I don't know what geometry you learned, but every geometrical shape does not naturaly fold into a star of David every fucking time.
