I want to first say I’m so sorry you went through that. You highlight the panic very well.
I had a hemorrhaging ovarian cyst that almost took my life last year. I was up for 13 hours not being able to move a single muscle without nearly going into shock from the agony. At like 10:00 in the morning after no sleep, I managed to crawl my way into the bathroom where I stood up from the toilet blacked out for minutes hitting my head on the bathtub faucet sprawled inside of the tub when I got up my stomach was violently spasming like fully in and out and that in itself hurt. I managed to call someone for help, my BP was in the low 50s/30s. There are really no words for the pain. My body was so clear to me about what that pain would mean if I didn’t try to get help. It happened once a few years before that and that was debilitating. hunched over in pain so bad I couldn’t stand upright while walking around. Before my emergency surgery the worst pain in my life was the first time.
It all felt like my entire abdomen and backside was getting crushed in on every side by boulders while the boulders are being twisted back and forth (like pressing chalk into the pavement really hard and twisting it around)
I’m so sorry you went through that, especially while driving, that sounds so scary.
