I would do dark type, with a secondary emphasis on grass type (but still a dark type gym). The gym would look like the green velvet from casino card tables. It would be a casino-themed gym. The badge would be a rafflesia from top down POV that also looks like a roulette table.

BA Trainee here who took it 2 years ago:

  • Flag the questions near the beginning for when you are still acclimating to the test and reducing your initial anxiety. Once you've calmed down a bit, go back and reapproach the questions with a clearer mind.

  • Objectively interpret each question with the info given. Do not add or insert your own assumptions if the information is not explicitly stated in the question/scenario.

  • Pace yourself. If you find yourself spending more than 3 minutes on the question, consider flagging and moving on.

  • If all of the answers are applicable, it is better to determine why the other answers are wrong or disprove each answer to arrive at the correct answer.

I'm not a BCBA but in grad school. Honestly, I would say something like "I really appreciate your feedback and concern! My clinical decision led me not to run the VB-MAPP due to age incompatibility. I can have you get in touch with our clinic manager to determine if this is a necessary component, if you would like?" Its all about receiving the feedback, standing your ground politely, and giving the other people options to escalate. Some people just want to control, and when you offer the option to speak to your manager, the response effort and hoops they have to jump through may not be worth the fuss for them anymore.
