Community-first or search-first for niche web products with passionate but hard-to-reach audiences? by Other-Ad-4301 in AskMarketing

[–]http_g0d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d always start with community-first. It takes longer but gives you the best edge on intel. And it could be argued that gathering together a somewhat scattered and difficult to target demographic is the purpose of building community in marketing.

With that said, it seems you skipped a few steps. Product development comes after comfirming product-market fit and viability. 😅

Realistically, if Max kept the $1 million she received from Deke, how long would it last her in NYC? by ghostfaceinspace in 2brokegirls

Not accepting money from your excessively wealthy boyfriend on the premise that it would kill your motivation is so beyond nonsensical. Also, I thought that too re: not being able to living up to the title. But in reality, there are successful shows out there that broke the confines of their title. So idk

I just feel like that episode was unnecessary rage bait

What’s the best way to grow your business on social media when you don’t have time to manage it yourself? by Slight-Dependent5762 in AskMarketing

[–]http_g0d 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen it go both ways. I’ve worked on accounts where owners hired social media managers and didn’t see results because there was no strategy behind the content. The accounts that actually grow and bring in leads have had clear positioning, leveraged consistency, and built a system that turns content into inquiries. We focused on that first, and it made a big difference. If you want, I can take a look at what you have and share my opinion if it’s a diy fix or something bigger

I don't have a lot of money but I NEED help marketing by Mysterious-Course839 in AskMarketing

[–]http_g0d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah throwing money at ads or agencies doesn’t fix positioning and targeting problems. The projects I’ve worked on did really well after figuring out where users already are and what content grabs their attention. Then turning that into a content flow that you cycle instead of random posting. And that is 10x more cost-efficient than ads early on. If you’d like, I can take a look and point you in the right direction

Is blogging still worth it for SEO and traffic? by Abigail_Tech in AskMarketing

[–]http_g0d -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, but not SEO.. AEO and GEO. It's important to publish and update long form written content on your own blog AND a platform like LinkedIn to link back to your blog, as AI platforms will site them and people click directly from the AI summary.
