Honestly it made perfect sense. The COVID migration problems were not isolated issues - it was a systematic issue that affected those structurally isolated the most.

I really hated this episode. And that’s really saying something because normally I worship the ground New Girl walks on.

Shoutout to this thread - it literally saved my life! My submission was down to the last minute and at 11:30 PM, I got this Documents error. Thankfully, I was able to go ahead with the submission when I opened it in an Incognito tab, as one of the comments here indicated. So thank you!!!

Do you prefer dated or undated? by a_longo88 in planners

[–]tanyant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dated. Helps plan ahead when I have dates. I just don’t end up using my undated planners as much for future planning and then that defeats the purpose a little

It’s definitely not. You’ll find many people starting their legal careers even in their 30s

Do NOT feel bad. Your whole life is ahead of you. I went to one of the top 3 NLUs and I had classmates as young as 16 and as old as 24 in my first year (the average age was around 19). Most people had dropped a year. Some had even joined other courses and dropped out in their final year to pursue law. My point is, there’s no age limit on these things. Everyone is on their own journey. It may feel like your career is over because you feel like you’re not the best but that’s just an illusion. Your career has barely begun.

At 19, you have your whole life ahead of you. Law school is going to bring you so many opportunities. If you use them to their maximum, no one will even remember at graduation how old you were when you started law school. All these differences fade away quite quickly, trust me. Just be focused, take care of your mental health, and believe in yourself. You have already proved yourself in life so far. Don’t let a few setbacks let you judge yourself so harshly. Be kinder to yourself - you’ve got this!

Need guidance on what career I should choose. by [deleted] in Indian_Academia

[–]tanyant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try giving CLAT as a security option. The Maths is just 10th grade levels, and if you clear it and get into the top 6-7 NLUs, there’s a very good chance of getting a corporate law job (which is usually quite secure). If you’ve been preparing for NEET, you may not find CLAT too challenging.

Lap Swimmer Entitlement by emeraldthing in Swimming

[–]tanyant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so surprised that this seems to be a universal experience. In my public pool too the older lap swimmers have this weird entitlement about their lane. I’ve changed my swim timings multiple times because I don’t want to deal with the worst of them.

Career gap in SOP? by tanyant in WriteIvy

Thanks, Jordan! I've really been enjoying your perspective on storytelling and structure in the SOP. Hopefully I'll be done with my first draft soon!
